    Hi peeps,
This week we're trying some amazing Char Kway Teow & Laksa at one of the oldest Food Markets in Singapore Chinatown, Hong Lim Food Centre!
As the environment is rather noisy with constant generator droning & the lighting isn't exactly the best as it was raining and rather early in the morning...the sound & image quality might not be the best. That said, hope you'll still enjoy it as much as we enjoyed filming :)
    Cheers!

OOo you were at Hong Lim??? Hong Lim has Jiji Wanton Noodles Specialist (also Bib Gourmand) that serves up FANTASTIC wanton mee AND curry mee! It's REALLY good. Eddie's also serves great fusion food! The CKT is quite nice but I'm always a bit lazy to queue. hehe if you go at 9+am there's no queue. :)

Hello~ Yes, we went to Hong Lim! Actually it's a spot WL used to frequent before the pandemic mainly for the BCM (cause Crawford lane insane queue) but standard has dropped quite a lot over these few years😢
We've heard of Jiji Wonton Noodles too! Definitely will try this spot for both wonton mee & curry mee 😝
When we filmed that day Outram Park CKT has insane queue all the way till we finished filming hahaha, it's indeed quite troublesome to queue for it, needs some serious patience 😂

I would like to see you guys review Jiji in your honest opinion as some think their wanton mee is decent but many feels that the dish does not taste like wanton mee at all.

@@markshippo That sounds rather interesting, we'll definitely try it out when we are in Singapore again 😝

@@markshippo Mm they do give Wanton and noodles... but I do agree it's a variation :) After all there can be many different kinds of the same thing. Hokkien mee has wet and dry too. haha

@@TheGourmetPlate YAAA the queue for the CKT goes around the corner. You need to be there at 9.30am to skip the queue. :D

I've attempted to make it many times but each time I've fallen short.
