This lady is ridiculously talented. She played an entire multi track recording by herself. Unbelievable.
Franz Liszt created piano reductions-that’s the term for this type of composition-of the entirely of Beethoven’s nine symphonies.

Actually the piano is a percussion instrument so drum rudiments are possible.
@@rutmandan piano is classified as a string instrument . I'm a drummer. Literally NO PART of playing the piano is anywhere close to drumming rudiments. Drumming rudiments are double strokes, hands and feet...especially for metal...flams, paradiddles, etc. Try getting double strokes on a piano when there is zero rebound on the keys like there is on the batter head of a drum. Good luck. Everything about drums and piano are fundamentally different. You're not even holding sticks. Yes, you can bang on a piano, but that's as far as similarities go between drums and piano. You can't choke a key like you choke a cymbal or hi-hat.
If a piano operated like a xylophone, then maybe. But since a key moves a mallet to hit a string, with no rebound.....and sustains far longer than a drum head or xylophone bar.....

Imagine the thousands and thousands of hours she must have trained to get to that level. Playing Master of Puppets entirely without a partition is true skill. I stand in awe.

As someone who is kinda capable of playing piano, playing stuff with no partition is not hard at all. You just gotta memorize everything.
Then, I mean, Master Of Puppets is hard as hell nevertheless, but it doesn't depend on having a partition or not.
She could give a whole concert of Metal hits. And people would love it.
I've played guitar for 30 years. I think I'm more impressed by talented piano players now than I am by shredding guitarists. The ability to play two separate parts with both hands is beyond impressive.
Yes using the voice melodies is have seen guitarists do it more like a classical approach

You know, the late Cliff Burton was a trained musician... he loved classical music and studied musical theory. Hearing 'Master of Puppets' on piano... I hear his classically-inspired parts of the song... the quiet section especially. Metallica would not have been as big without Cliff Burton.

OMG. This has opened my eyes to a completely new way to hit the keys. I've been playing this song note for note for over 35 yrs on guitar and never dreamed I'd hear it so powerfully and beautifully on keys. I was almost moved to tears of joy. Especially the build-up to "Master! Master! Where's the dreams that I've been after?" Incredible talent. Can't say enough good things. Very beautiful girl as well. I loved the way she calmly took a sip of water, cracked her knuckles, then cracked that ebony n ivory!

Yeah the build up piece was actually written by kirk Hammett too its a genius riff that ties the song together I believe.

I clicked on this thinking I was going to see someone butcher one of my all time favorite songs. This has got to be one of the most creative, talented, unbelievable masterpieces ever. There isn't a single word to describe how amazing this is. I think the piano actually had an orgasm.

First, thank you for recording this with more than a potato. Looks great. Second, it caught me off guard because it sounds like an upscaled version of the "8 bit" version, because it's one instrument, so it has that same frantic feel to it. Last but not least, outstanding talent! Master of her craft. ...and puppets.

Thousands of hours of practice, just like guitarists can shred for 45-90 minute concerts and be fine.
When musical notes in passion entangle with your soul you'd be amazed by the stamina boost. I can't create them like she can, but take them running with me.. my secret sauce.
@@Keithustus 45-90 on the average/lower end. Headline bands commonly play well over 90 minutes, and never as short as 45 on a proper headlining tour. Even bands full of old players, like Metallica or a band like Journey for example. They'll play 2 hours or over as a headliner.

The breakdown sounds particularly fantastic on piano.
Пару часов просто не знал, что написать! Давно прошу эту песню, но боялся, что чисто гитарная песня будет звучать плохо. Но ты не только осилила все эти соло в терцию, заменив собой четыре инструмента, но и подобрала рояль с таким тембром, что это звучит как самостоятельное произведение для рояля!

Да играет, но это уже не так интерессно потому, что все практически эти каверы сыграл другой человек Виктория Ермольева, и сейчас как-то звучит это не очень то классно, а как пародия.
Играть кавер кавера не очень оригинально, свое надо что-нибудь придумывать. А по натоптанной ходить тропе не совсем хорошо.

I honestly don't listen to many of these but I thought this was very well done and it's possibly the first time I've heard someone work the sound of the lyrics into the rendition as well as the actual song on the same instrument at the same time. Basically covering multiple instruments and the lead singer all at once and it still came out recognizable and impressive!

She does not memorize the songs that she plays, it is all by ear.
God puts people like this in front of us to show what is possible through the human brain and willpower.
She is a blessing, an inspiration and one of the few people alive who has been touched to this level.
How fun it must be for her to sit in front of a piano and play these songs with such skill and emotion, and the willingness to show it to the world.

I have always looked for piano covers of my favourite songs but could never find many that did them justice until now- your interpretation of the music onto the piano really captures the emotions or the original songs and is incredibly impressive!
