oh wow dude, thanks a lot. 🙏 I can't believe no one on youtube made a proper side by side comparison between the GH6 and any Olympus camera. My favorite shots were 4:40 and 8:00. 👌 and now since the G9 II was announced I think the price on the GH6 will go down on the used market, which will make this camera one of the best bang for buck cameras out there. ---- If you use manual focus lenses of course. :P
You're welcome. I've taken a look at G9 II, and it does not have a dual native ISO sensor so it has significantly lower dynamic range. It does a great job when it comes to AF ofc. For work I almost exclusively use manual focus lenses, the only time I rely on AF is during gimbal shots 🎥
@@EndlessEnergyit does have DRboost, if that is what you're referring to. It just has no option to disable it. So it'll use DRboost whenever it can. And it also has a wider range of DR boost, starting at ISO 500 in Vlog instead of 2000 on the GH6. And the streaking issues seem to have been solved. If they had just kept the fan in it, it would've been called the GH6ii 😂
@@EndlessEnergy I love the colors straight out of the camera, there's a flat profile too (not log though) and it makes it possible to tweak the colors even with LUTs. My favorite camera is E-P7 though as it lets you do pretty precise color grading directly in the camera, you can tweak each primary color separately as well as highs, mids and shadows. This way I can see what I am recording and set the lighting accordingly. For me as a filmmaker, it speeds up the process and helps me to be more creative. Surely I could achieve similar results in post-production, creating masks, motion track and so on, but it would take far more time and effort.

@@Wildridefilms It might be, i'll definitely get my hands on one and check it out!
Awesome video! 😮😊
It's a filler kind of, next one will be more substantial 😁
E-PL9 looks more cinematic.
You are the first person ever to tell me that, I guess that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder!
What do you prefer about olympus? Colors?

@@cineffect Nice, as long as it truly vibes with you it doesn't matter what camera you use!
