This band is so exciting to watch and very creative musicians with a unique sound!
very underrated band
Beyond Creation is one of my favorite bands and I really like this guy. His drumming is just as tight and fast as all the other drummers who played with BC, maybe even more depending on wether he gets to record with the band and what he records.

I was just pointing out that when you listen to the house mix, the snare is difficult to hear whenever you aren't playing rimshots.

I don't know why drummers have two bass drums but use a double bass. It's so much more comfortable with two single petals. The rod just slows you down. Well it slows me down.

easier to mic/trigger one kick instead of two...try keeping the cross bar straight and it won't slow you down
well i usually mic and trigger both of my bass drums and if you have a tuning gauge you wont have that problem cause you can get both sounding exactly the same and my drums live or in the studio sound amazing. but live i usually just trigger.
+steven kitchens yeah it's a lot of work, triggering definitely makes it easier. I stopped using triggers live a while ago. I had an issue with misfiring at a show and I was embarrassed by it... never again lol
+steven kitchens also you can spend all that time tuning your kick drums perfectly... only to have a lame sound tech mess it up. half the time a sound tech will only have one mic...

+Matt van den Ham The name of that is: image and presence in stage... so important in certain genres and bands.
Nothing to do with stage look or...small penis... Its just because he used David Mcgraw's kit, and we save a lot of time (2 minutes is a lot of time on this kind of events) by setting it that way. Thats it.
why have 2 bass drums when you only using one?
maybe he just brought his own pedals and the main kit had to have kicks switched out for different members

Phil wasn't available for that tour (Summer Slaughter in august),so my friends Sinon and Kevin asked me to replace him,i learned 6 songs in 5 days,ans sickdrummer filmed me for this show in SF.

It's notorious the Augury's influence on this band..
great preformance but i can tell that he sound checked his snare to his rimshot volume. it gets lost during the blasts.

i never could understand the double bass with double pedal. show? fancy? if one skin pops, the other is there? wth?!
I've been using the Cattle Decapitation drumkit during the whole tour. My friend Dave uses 2 kicks and 2 simple pedals. When you have 10 minutes change over you have to hurry,so i kept the 2 kicks on stage for him. Pretty simple to understand and Nothing "fancy" about that.

Spooks Man Plays One : he was on Dave Mcgraw kit ,two easier to trigger/mic and three, sometimes they use two for the look but find more comfortable to have a double pedal
