    Michael Landon was a fantastic and funny man. Great for a laugh. God Bless him and all the other actors who have died too.

    This one was great! I loved the LHOTP bloopers, but the stories about Dan were my favorite parts. So funny. 🤣🤣

    So fun to see this on nearly the eve of the 50th anniversary of the show. Those two certain made a pair on TV (Carson and Mike). Fun. Is it just me who noticed this but... isn't that the same shirt Mike wore on the little house audition tape with Melissa that was shown to NBC execs before they picked up the show? I know brown plaid was a thing in the early 70s but the shirts are the same or are very very similar. Go look, the audition tape is here on youtube.

    There's a story I read, and it was close to Michael passing away, and Johnny and he went to a restaurant they had gone to before, and Michael apparently had Johnny believing he had run over the owner's cat. They go in and the menu was fixed with metaphors about cats.

    Michael Landon was wonderful. Actually, I could say the same about Dan Blocker and Lauren Green. My mother was friends with Dan blocker who would come and ski at the big boulders ski area in Pennsylvania. My mom was a ski instructor there. They would hang out at the split rock Lodge, which has burned down unfortunately years ago And they would have drinks in the private bar only the ski instructors select people. I was far too young to be allowed in that area of the lodge but my mom told me all about friends. Memory sharing.

      He was able to ski, considering how much weight he carried?

    • @Dr.scottcase88
      @Dr.scottcase88 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well, I never saw him on the ski slope, but I was too busy skiing with my friends and at that age I never even paid attention. But I do know he would go to the Afters ski Lodge bar where my mother and other ski instructors would hang out, I also know that he and his wife bought a place in Switzerland so I do think he really did ski. Peace.

    He was so very talented and a wonderful person. It's just too bad he couldn't choose one woman to be with, not change every decade with no consideration for the results on the children that he insisted on continuing to have.

    Considering how God-honoring the theme of his works is, he was involved in quite the heart attack risk inducing tomfoolery.
    I don't like practical jokes that induce terror, hatred, disgust or such.

      It's strange how he could play a character that was the complete opposite of who he was in real life! Shows how good his acting was... You'd never expect him to be this "unserious" in real life...

    • @badgrrrl
      @badgrrrl 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I kind of like his role better than his real self, to be honest!

      @@badgrrrl Isn't that almost a law of Hollywood if not humankind in general?
      Although the opposit exists, too, but being perceived more negatively than one actually is tends to be a thing of decent people in contrast to the normalized fakeness that abets misconceptions.
      The role of servitude of truth is underrated in the nourishing of the divine, and if it wasn't, then many people could at least begin to learn how to avoid Satan's deceptions that turn truth on its head.
      Humankind is shockingly spiritually uneducated.

    Karen Grassle who played Ma on Little House said he refused to pay her the same salary as other male adults got paid on the show. She was paid the same wage as the kids ! She said he was very difficult to work with. Made me sad to hear this 😮
