Unfortunately, where Sleep Token are concerned, it is very difficult to discern the exact meaning of the lyrics. For starters, you have to first work out whether the song is about the god/goddess known as Sleep, or whether it is about an ex-partner or about Vessel himself. With this song, the only thing one can definitely ascertain is that when Vessel is asleep and dreaming he is fine, but when he wakes up, all his pain, etc, comes crashing down on him leading to self-deletion thoughts.
