Logitech z906 problem - bad input connection

- Sound randomly drops out. Sometimes comes back after restart. Less than two years old.
Edit: I was able to solve this by swapping from the mini-jack connections to a single optical audio cable. I'm not sure where the root problem was, maybe a short in the cable, or in a connection in the speaker system itself, but using a digital optical connection instead solved this issue for me.
I have a problem with mine the rear left and rear right aren't working but the rest are and am using a LG smart TV and I also reseted it any suggestions?
I have the exact same problem the sound keeps missing out. after I reset or turn it off and on again the sound sometimes comes back. please tell me how did you fix?
i swapped from using the mini-jack cord to using an optical cable. Luckily I had one lying around, and had optical output from my PC. The connection is much more stable and sounds better. Dunno if the issue was with a short in my cable or the input on the speakers, but switching inputs solved it for me. =)
I had this issue when watching tv, the tv receiver was connected via hdmi to the tv from tv to z906 woth optical, turned out the hdmi from the tv receiver to the tv had a bad connection.
after how long of use are u getting this issue...an what is the issu u got with it..
Have it for 10 years still no issues other than some bad cable connections.
Thank you. I wanted to buy this system and a few minutes ago I found a really good deal, but given the fact that is a 10 year old system and has this massive issues, pass.
I was able to fix this system by using an optical cable instead of a mini jack cable. Still disappointed with the build quality on the mini jack connection, but the rest of the system has been solid with the optical connection and sounds great =)
I have this system for 10 years now, never failed me still sounds amazing. When this bricks i will get another z906.
me i don't use input 1 i use input aux and is good
