To anyone who want to try this: This 9V battery trick only works with that especific conffeti cannon. The Showtec Magic FX is a battery powered hand-held conffetti trigger (like a gun) and works with a lower voltage than normal electric conffeti cannons. Normal cannons work with 12V AC CURRENT (and need about 3-5 amps to trigger the gas charge), so it wont work with a 9V DC battery. This trick only works with the Showtec cannons, but not the estandard/generic ones.
Do you know the name of the electric connector and where I can find it? Do you think it is possible to connect more cannon to one shooter (with an appropiate electric custom connection)? Thanks
Think by luck the 9 volt battery fired this at the time of filming. Any amount of this type of electricity fired cannons if not discharged from a purpose built system would need relays to to triggered.

Is this always working? I read it needs at least 12V to shoot, so im a bit suprised it worked with 9v.
