Good video! Turned out I didn’t have play at the clutch arm ( checked on the right side). Last year I had crunchy shifts ( the plates were clinging together from gunky oil residue). After cleaning plates and adjusting as you demonstrated the clutch works great!
Dude, you do know that when you used the socket to tighten the adjuster nut, the adjuster screw also tightened as well. Look at the adjuster screw slot @3:57, then look at the adjuster screw slot @4:10. When adjusting a clutch that is a significant difference.
What is the adjustment on the springs itself? The 3 surrounding nuts. How far should they be tightened? My clutch springs feel weak. Need to know how far to bring those nuts in to get a stronger grab.
@MILO BROWN Appreciate the response man. I'm gonna measure where I have them set to when I get some time. Did have the disc's out recently to inspect everything, and they looked ok. I think the springs are old and worn. Probably gonna just replace them first.
4 speed segment starts at the 5:50 mark.
Thanks ...good tip
Excellent video! Adjustment made easy. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I've learned a lot today! Thought I needed to replace my clutches, but more likely throw out / oil slinger is problem.

hmm on 4 speed shouldn't the clutch arm also be adjusted? I believe the manual say something about 13/16in between clutch arm and top og gearbox.
I use a old 13-16 sparkplug to set the measure on the arm vs trans .
Awesome. Thanks for posting
Nice vid - Thank you
thank you!
at least on the 4 speed you should say disconnect the ground
