Sin A Ma was awarded the first prize in category I of the 4th International FRANZ LISZT Competition for Young Pianists 2014 at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar.
During her performance for the Prize Winners' Concert she played Joseph Haydn's Piano Concerto in D Major with an special orchestra, consisting of young musicians of the Music High School Schloss Belvedere Weimar and members of the Staatskapelle Weimar, conducted by Joan Pagès Valls.
Recorded 2014/11/06 at the congress centrum neue weimarhalle, Weimar.

To me this is Haydn's best Piano Concerto...in its amazing first movement. such a fluid composition filled with many delightful chord changes.

Niños como esta koreanita de apenas 13 años de edad abundan en Korea, Japón, Taiwán y otros países del lejano oriente. So you believe that Juilliard with do better work than the Franz liszt weimar or the academy of vienna or some prestigious music university in central Europe. They will teach her a very specific way of playing just like they did with tiffany poon and she left Juilliard. Juilliard has maybe 5-10 famous alumni every decade and thousands of people that return to their countries and have zero opportunities.
