The first time I heard this piece was when I was 12 years old. My family and I attended a private dinner at Palais Pallavicini in Vienna, Austria. There was a live orchestra entertaining us that night, and they played this piece. I thought it was very beautiful and I asked for the name of it. As an avid pianist, I have an appreciation for classical music unlike most teenagers. Whenever I listen to this composition, it reminds me of my first trip to Europe. I still listen to this piece all the time and it makes me happy inside. Thanks for posting!
Oh man that ending was awesome. The rondo really is the spirit of this amazing piece of music. It's a shame that the camera angle kinda covered the pianist and especially her hands - the part that I was looking for the most. Being a fellow pianist I can't help but admire such level of finesse and precision, and of course the mind-blowing speed
This is No. 25, in the Hoboken catalogue, but No. 39 in Landon's. Beautiful whatever the number! Haydn combined the piano, violin and cello so well together that this trio just flows effortlessly and lightly upon the ears.
Es uno de los doce trios con piano que más seinterpreta apodado "rondo gitano" y también cantatas, canciones para voz sola entre ellas la doce canzonetas inglesas ...
Written in 1795, this is probably a hallmark (though certainly not his only one!) of these, Haydn's happiest days in England (before returning to Vienna, having by now become a public figure there!).
Add a comment? Okay. The ending sounded like he really really needed to get to the toilet, but wanted to finish writing this so as not to lose his train of thought. Whew!
It seems to me that the first movement is noted " Andante " and not " Allegrissimo " ... So it's a little roping and this obviously does not sing ... ! When the last movement is not to be worth playing it, since we feel that musicians want to get rid as soon as possible ...
Terrific instrumentalism, but not quite really Haydn! In the famous "Gypsy" finale, we don't quite get that gypsy lilt that Haydn, steeped in the folk music of his environs, really knew how to recreate.
Цыганская музика, это что то особое. Гайдн взял здесь народные темы своего места, где он жил, т.е. юго-восточного Австрия, Рорбах. Спасибо Вам и комплименты.
Wonderful. But (apart from the amazing skill) what an exceptional violin 'voice' too. Like others have commented we couldn't see the pianist's hands. Why do Video controllers do exactly what the viewer doesn't want to see?? Have they no musical interest?
Thank u haydn truly amazing lovely heavenly ...music this trio gmajor..god bless u..piano person lively..haydn like..I love this piece.thx haydn .truly a miracle in music
It is not acceptable to allow advertisers to interrupt a piece of music or performance, especially one as beautiful as this one. Shame on you, TH-cam.
Magical, charming, utterly beautiful!🎉🎉🎉🎉

I absolutely adore the pianist's facial expressions, especially in the last movement. It really engages the viewer!
It doesn't get any better than this. Phrasing, and dynamics are perfect.
1st Mvt = Andante -> 0:09;
2nd Mvt = Poco Adagio, cantabile -> 6:15;
3rd Mvt = Rondo a L'Ongarese - Presto -> 11:52.
Bravo! Excellent interpretation.

Written by a master and masterfully perormed! Thoroughly enjoyed this!
Bravo to this trio and bravo to Haydn, one of the founders of the modern chamber music.
The best performance of this trio that I have ever heard.
The balance is fantastic.
A lovely performance of this delightful Haydn trio, with excellent recording quality. Thank you.

Love that last movement! But what the hell kind of room are they playing in? A metro station?
Way too much reverb.
역시 아름답다고 표현할 수 밖에
