Yes, I nearly bought an Eventide but when I arrived someone had filled every void on the boat in expanding foam…….. I have a CD with the plans on it, I think you can still get them from the UK club.
@@pauls8456 I got the plans from the Eventide Owners Association some time ago. Something else I find out about Phoenix is that she apparently used to be a bilge keeler but got modified in 1977 with a cruising keel. I was under the impression that she was built in 1977 by Louw and Halverson in Capetow, but it seems she was given a major rebuild. A year later, the next owners also fitted a longer rudder as the original steel rudder caused her to turn to wind as soon as she healed over in strong South Easters. The new rudder extends down as far as the keel and I have sailed her in some pretty inclement weather since.
