    I’ve just bought a 2.0 tsi and I just love the responsiveness - oh, and that sound! But I can also watch that needle on the fuel gauge move downwards! Definitely the phev for me next time.

    Got the iV with a remap to 280 hp and 480 nm torque, such a beast. Love the response difference even in normal hybrid mode now

      Hi man, i will get the phev soon too. So a repmap is possible for more power? does it have any drawbacks to it? like damaging something on the car?

      @@Virus007ful probably in the long term, but not in the short term, any remap will put added stress to components. Worth it? Yes.

      ​@@NaeromusicI'm considering too. But you don't go full throttle all the time? :) You still have 280 hp if necessary. In my opinion, if you often act normally, the parts will not wear/damage out quickly.

    You must Drive the iV in Sport Mode, then he is much better!

      thank you for the advice. May I ask you? How many kilometers have you driven already with your car? And what is the real-life consumption?

      @@GamesRaider yes of course, we currently have 700 kilometers. the consumption is quite different. Drive fast on the Autobahn 9-10 L / 100km hybrid. City / country only in electricity 34.1 kWh / 100km.

      Das kann ich nur bestätigen. Beim iV ein merkbarer Unterschied, der Sport Mode. Macht Spaß, die Batterie mags aber nicht so oft 😂
      Ich fahre jetzt auch seit November 20 den iV und bin trotz aller Skepsis der Kollegen überzeugt von dem Wagen. Er passt aber auch fast perfekt in meinen Alltag. Pendeln 2x 30km, 80% E (Sommerzeit). Und wenns mal auf die Bahn gehen soll, Benzin.

      @@mrochtna Superb IV estate here in Norway 6000km. I never charge it and my average fuel consumption is 6L/100 km. I mostly drive it in sport, where it maintaince 50% battery.
      I did a 12 km trip two days ago with full battery in comfort mode on highway. 3.4L/100 km.

    Since petrol isn't a problem for me I'd take the 2.0 TSI 220. I'm also in awe with the 2.0 TSI 280 4x4 !

    Noway the IV is 7.0s, i have the GTE same engine.. sport mode 7.7-8s... My neighbour has the skoda IV... same result..

      @@GamesRaider the 190hp does 7.0 as well? i drive the 2020 new one 2.0 TSI with 190HP i think they say 7.7 0-100 maybe thats a little bit faster on the road

      Actually I was thinking about it. Like in theory the car (iV) try to recuperate the energy during each breaking. But what if we do "our best" to prevent recuperation and empty the battery to critical low level. ? We stay with the power of 1.4 tsi engine only ... no chance for 0-100 in 7.1 sec anymore?

      @@GamesRaider Even if you try to prevent recuperation, which is hard to accomplish, the petrol engine will redirect part of the energy produced towards the battery. So no matter what, you will always have maximum power and torque when needed.

      It will always keep some juice in the battery to help you make overtakes and shoul be enough for 0-100 to.

      I don't think people will buy Superb iV to drive in S-mode... it's build for eco-driving lovers :)

      @@ukaszrtjk7849 I've actually owned a Passat 2.0TDI common rail before this car and I can safely say the Superb has less consumption. However it takes more from the driver. You need to learn when to use recuperation, when to use your battery and when hybrid. If done well you'll manage 3l/100 km quite easily with about 15kWh/100km, which in terms of costs (with Dutch fuel price of about 1.5 €/l), comes down to about the same as a non-hybrid car with a fuel consumption of 5l/100km. For a car this big this is 'Superb' ;). For rides less than 40-50km you can drive fully electric and then the total costs are even lower: comparable to a non-hybrid car which does 3l/100km. To achieve this however you have to settle with the lack of the petrol engine power, but it still drives fine and extremely comfortable.

      @@Marcelve and what are the specs when you run out of battery? I think accelerations is much slower. I want to buy one and the only thing is what keep me away is the dynamics on motorway with empty battery.

      Sportline? It is only design line. How it can be faster? Like 2.0 tdi 190hp in L&K version and Sportline version is the same car when it comes to acceleration capability. But yeah, there is a joke that car in racing blue or red color is always 0,01 sec faster then the same car in random grey, black or white :)

      Well, if I wouldn't take into consideration the gasolin expenses I would also take the strongest TSI version. Unfortunatelly, by my yearly mileage the only reasonable option was 2.0 tdi... But with 190 hp, DSG-7 and 4x4 it's still pretty much drivable :)
