Invest in a 4K 60 capture PCI card you can put in to capture your benchmark tests in these machines. Anyway another great video in an awesome series. I'm hooked lol
Great video! Following you from belgium in europe and doing the same thing as you for more than a year! Here in my country people on the “used” market do not spend more than 400/500euros and that is actually a bummer cause I cannot make 3080 builds like you. Or as I should say, I could, but I would need to underprice them a lot. We do not even have combo deals in belgium, not even in Germany, France or the Netherlands so I need to pay everything in full price or get a good deal on secondhand website or marketplace but it is not that easy. For example: a 500gb sata ssd is more than 35euros. In the US you can get one for much lower than that even 1tb. Keep up the job btw💪
Thanks! And nice, I do get what you’re saying about how some markets it just wouldn’t work the same as others. Definitely do whatever you find works best in your own market and just stick with that.
love the videos. i look forward to more. maybe some ideas would be how you test or try and guarantee your getting working products , negotiation tactics, listing tactics etc. how you determine value of deals etc.
I’m in the process of planning out an entire series of informative videos on stuff like that. It’ll be a long time but if you want to help out, are there any other topics you’d want to see covered? I’d love to hear any suggestions because all of that is potential content which helps me, which in turn ends up helping you and everyone else again.
you should turn '' deals of the week'' into ''latest tech deals'' or ''latest tech steals'' there not the best names but i hope those can help or at least spark some insperation if you change the name. great videos btw so keep up the hard work.
All these flip channels are the same, oh I got a great deal on an rtx 3080 for 100 bucks and then some 32gb of ram for 15 on my local marketplace. I have been fliping PC's for 8 years now and I can tell you I have never seen a deal like some of these channels claim
@@JackPCBuildsby the way, I’m looking to start my pc flipping journey too, I have a question. How long does it usually take for someone to buy your computer once you put it on sale?
These last 2 months, each one has taken between 2 weeks and a month on average. Before then though the average was around 5 days-2 weeks to sell. It’s slow right now but expected to pick up again here in Q4.
Anything 30 or 40 series works best for most people. Except maybe the 3050 because even used it’s overpriced for what you get. And for 40 series the only one I’d recommend would be the 4060 or 4070 because most others you’re going to have a hard time finding a good deal on.
If its worth trying, when posting builds with radeon cards like your last video mention what its comparable to on nvidias side. so like the RX 6800 beats 4060 TI or something so people have a idea based off of the title what the computer is capable of. I think it will lead to more people clicking on your listing.
Oh that’s interesting. I never thought of doing it in the title. I’m in talks with someone on that one right now actually but they haven’t fully committed yet so if it doesn’t sell to this person then I might just try that.
Yeah, I bought it something like a year ago for $47 on ebay and it passed PSU tests and everything (still does) but that doesn’t always tell the whole story as shown here.
I came across the dell 3080 last night, how do you like them for flips? Any issues? I know theyre from alienwares so hopefully they cool pretty well given that theyre born into that thing haha.
Actually surprisingly good. I have a dell 6800 XT with some pretty annoying temperature issues but the 3080 seems to be better. And the fans don’t get nearly as loud as my 6800XT since the card itself doesn’t suffer the same temperature issues. Memory gets a little hot but that’s just kind of how it goes with GDDR6X. And they look decent in builds too. The green pcb is kind of annoying and the static white led can’t be changed but the backplate covers most of the PCB and overall they look decent in my opinion. So if you can get one for a good price I’d say go for it, there’s no major downsides. GN has a review of their [I think] 3090 which is basically the same design as the 3080 if you want some more info.
Facebook marketplace Been a bit slow the last 2 months compared to how it was before. Not sure if something changed with the platform or if it’s just a natural dip in the cycle of things but I’m sure it will pick back up here going into Q4.
yo bro i have a i9 10900k rtx 3070 ti 2 terabyte ssd and 32 gigs of ram and i got inspired by u to sell my rig, im tryna sell it for 1300 at least but hopefully some more that way i can look for deals and i can also build a better pc if i cant find any deals, so my question is do you have any advice? and is this realistic to sell it for this price?
Hi, great to hear! Not to give generic advice but it does really just depend on where you live. In my area that kind of build would sell for right about $1000 if it's got good aesthetics and nothing wrong with it. But I know in other countries PC parts can be far more expensive so it all depends on where you're at and what other options people near you would be looking at (your competition). You'll also likely have much more interest and much better luck selling it once November/December comes around, so keep that in mind too and be patient. For other advice, find every possible way to make yourself stand out. Just go above and beyond. Get good pictures, make sure to appear (and be) trustworthy throughout your description and responses to inquiries. Provide support if they have any questions and give a straightforward negotiation and sale process. And if there's anything else you can think of to stand out from the competition, then do that.
Hey, Jack. It takes me about a month to sell one pc, And I'm not sure why it takes so long. Is it because there's not much people in my area or is there low demand or is this just a beginner thing?
Honestly everyone's been feeling that recently. I'm experiencing super long sale times as well and so are many others. I'd say it's likely just the time of year and if things follow the normal pattern you can probably expect it to pick up here going into the holiday season.
Thanks for the info, but I also had a pc listed in november last year and it still sold a day before christmas. My bet would be that people are just scared of being scammed by a private seller. Also what wold you concider a super long sale time in your case?
@@RoXxD7512 Super long sale time being 1-2 months on the $1K+ range recently. Whereas before (February-May) it was more like 2-4 weeks average for the same performance tier. (and those builds were costing me/selling for about ~$200 more back then than they do right now as well) However, seemingly out of nowhere I sold 2 computers for $1150 and $1050 last week (which were at lower profit than my target, but this was after getting zero interest for an entire month) I would say you're correct in the analysis. Here is another thing I have definitely found a pattern in: On the cheaper builds, I will get tons and tons of clicks and messages. But maybe only 10% of those messages actually commit. And of the ones who do commit, 50% of them change their mind the next day. On the expensive builds, I'll literally go an entire month with only 100 clicks and zero messages. Not even one message. But then seemingly out of nowhere someone randomly messages and says something like "Hey, I want to buy this, I have the cash, I can meet today, where are you located?" And then I sell it that same day. Because the people who are actually willing to go and drop that much money on a computer with no warranty from some random guy, actually usually do their research and know what they're getting BEFORE they even reach out. They've already weighed out all the options between my offering and the competition. And when they do reach out, they've already come to the decision that they want it, and they've also probably been thinking about it for a few days, so they've already got the money in hand. Versus if someone's looking at a $400 computer, they are probably talking to 6 other people about similar computers and making decisions as they go since it's not as big of a decision or a risk. Yes that was an essay but I don't know a shorter way to explain that concept.
@@JackPCBuilds Yeah that's exactly what I'm dealing with as well. Any pc over 1200Pln ($300) and the only interest is a couple of people bookmark it for later and it stays up like this for a month or two. Kind of relieved I'm not the only one with this problem. Thanks for your time and best of luck to you🙏
You must live in a wealthy area those $1000+ builds would never sell in mine. Everyone is after $300-$400 budget builds. You'd be lucky to break even in my area.
Yeah I actually strategically list them in an area that's pretty far away from where I actually live just because it's got significantly more population density, higher avg income, but low crime. Not sure if that ACTUALLY does anything but it's worth mentioning. Always of course do what works best for you.

There are also EATX motherboard's which support more well everything and generally for high-end builds.

good video. def leave a pinned comment when you do sell it.

How you find ssd 2 tb and ram 32 gb for free ???
Combo price
