I may not know how to operate an excavator, but I do know that if it could be shattered like that, it would be made out of porcelain, where even the boss of the job site could beat him. I'm confident in that by seeing them in action. Yes they are strong, but they're slow, it would be as if someone were to be trying to shove a door broadside into someone, not like a professional mixed martial artist charging into a potted plant. No doubt this is likely a starting up writer, considering that, whoever it is clearly thought thoroughly about the ability, thought of the corners of the TH-cam space, but had to rely on rule of cool twice, both of which have one simple fix. The other one however, is a case of rule of cool, and symbolic reuse of the protagonist's first thing that we saw them use.
Probs because the authors want to relate to their characters and thats how they see themselves. I know that coz im also a writer, just casual hobby. But still, a lot of us actual do that. Just making some wish-granting type of stories in which we wish we are that main character
