@@DjBlinkBlink Thanks for the help dude! Peace. I had asked our support here in New Zealand about some beat grid stuff and they were friggen hopeless!!! No surprise there, think I've nutted it out now though. Thanks again!
Always great to see DJ’s taking time to help each other out. Best Practice: you will notice at minute 4:16 in vid the BPM is displayed at 96. So simply edit 1 bar of the song correctly which will display correct BPM. Then Type that BPM into BPM field of song info and now the entire track is adjusted correctly without needing to set additional markers.
Thanks for your feedback. Also as per editing the beatgrids, if you set one marker and then just type the BPM as you explained, this won't set the BPM correctly for the whole song. Remember some songs have more than one BPM within the track which means the marker would move as the song plays.
DJ Blink-Blink agreed certain tracks will change or drift bpm at some point but most current music today is quantized to 1 bpm and will stay consistent beginning to end. Editing beat grids is a major key but alot of DJ’s are unaware because they don’t want to enable simple sync. Good Job.
Damn, never realised it was this easy. I notice the off-grid daily, especially when mixing Psytrance (most tracks are off-grid). This helps a lot. Major thanks. Cheers from the Netherlands, Youri - Indominex

@@DjBlinkBlink I been trying to get bpm down pact counting beats to improve my mixes in serato dj . my question is when I have two tracks loaded and set to 125 bpm when looking at the waveform should the numbers be aligned on deck a and deck b if beat grid is set correctly or how do i tell by looking on lap top at the waveform if both tracks are aligned correctly ? @@dywanecrandell2739 To answer your question, the numbers and the grids have to be aligned when you have BEATMATCHED the track.
