Now, this has made it so much easier to set my beatgrid.
Thanks for putting this out for us.
    Keep the videos coming.

I did not realize this was possible! Too bad I couldn't get serato to show the same track in 2 spots in a list (125 and 103) so when I sort by BPM I find it in either case.

The master bpm down in your playlist section also permanently changes to 103 which is the bpm transitions "into" . . . Wouldn't it be more helpful for that master bpm to remain at 125 because that's obviously the bpm you'd be using this song to mix out of? Any idea how to do this?

Double-click on the BPM in the playlist.. you can manually set the BPM as 125. When you lock in your Beatgrid, the playlist BPM will auto-set to the track’s starting BPM.

@@KadenceMusicOfficial . Every time I do that it totally erases the transitioned beat grid that comes later in the song. What am I doing wrong?

You’re not Locking the Beatgrid after you adjust it. In the Beatgrid adjustment controls, there’s a button that looks like a Padlock. Make sure you click that and lock it in.

@@KadenceMusicOfficial I have the same problem as @Lucas, but I can't find the padlock button. Just the padlock that in the playlist, which does not allow editing the beatgrid after its set

@@KadenceMusicOfficial There is no padlock (using version 2.5.11)

yo how did you know the beat transition numbers

I just can’t do it. Serato is shit for transition track gridding. Rekordbox is much easier. I just end up getting frustrated and deleting the transition tracks and done with.

I agree, Rekordbox is easier to do this on. May be subjective, but I happen to agree with you

@@KadenceMusicOfficial great video by the way. You explained things really well. Atleast I’ve got my transition tracks gridded in Rekordbox. I’ve only recently started using serato, thought I’d try the wireless feature out for phase. Which I’m loving! Apart from the transition track gridding (which is a minor issue) I’m happy with serato.
