Styling on vectra is timeless, even after 15 years the car looks as good as any other good looking 4 door car. I don't think this vectra will ever get ugly as time goes on
i can tell you it will.. i got a vectra v6 wagon.. the diamond sport edition..( the bells and whisles version with a sport chassis).. the v6 engines can take a lot of milage.. biggest problem is rust.. but if you can repair and prevent it from happening again that car is golden to own and drive.. i have driven the vectra C and i can tell you that the vectra B is a better handling car than the vectra C.. jeremy clarkson has shown it on top gear with the vxr/opc model that will understeer a lot.. the vectra b is quite tailhappy when you want lift off oversteer but its very forgiving... i enjoy mine very much.. and a commen moddification to the engine is to put 3.0 camshafts in them and an ECU remap to get from 170 hp to a bit over 200 hp...
The "BEST CLASSIC BRITISH CAR" that was engineered designed and some models manufactured in Germany. The Vauxhall Vectra is a Opel rebadged as a Vauxhall for the UK market.
I bought an X reg saloon 2 weeks ago and I'm loving every bloody minute of it.... Had an SRi 150 before that so naturally was the next step up... Always wanted one and I'm not disappointed....
This car has been declared off the road. Its last mot passed but the one previous had a bucket load of problems to fix, so I'm guessing it's in a collection, or just been written off.
The v6 Vectra b is a fast car, both the GSi and the non GSi, but the 2.0 16v variant was a dogs dinner. Acceleration to 60 was lacklustre. Also, the seats were coarse and hard in the LS version. The handling wasn't great. It was big and cumbersome. I didn't like it. I agree with Clarkson.

Glad I was sitting down to watch this, a Vectra review that doesn't just take the piss out of it. Makes a nice change!!

I want to own one in the future! My father owned an sri in the past. This car will never get old. The best classic British car

Just bought a GSI 2.6 saloon to get me by , love it.
When cars where better looking and worth buying to enjoy! Sexy motor
Had one max speed 160mph k&n fitted sounded like a v8 nas car
had one w46nvv still going somewhere.sounded awesome with a scorpion exhaust system .may try a 3.2 one day
Or a 3.2 in a 2.5... That's what I'm aiming for...
