@@MrRABC1 having children is expensive yes but that doesn't explain why the entire economy is bad, US citizens had the best purchasing power in their baby boomer days because they had lots of labor and lots of industry and corporations, central asian countries like these don't have that privilege yet, china sure didn't and they had even more babies than these folk but they worked their way out, give people time.

I think its primarily a result of the fact they are usually theocracy's and a combination of religion and an honor culture keeps holding them back at a large scale level.
Lack of education because lots of sciences discoveries go against their religious beliefs will always prevent these societies from moving forward.

Pakistan and afghanistan are ruled by war lords. Atleast now Taliban is trying to make Afghanistan great after the USA looted them so much. Pakistan needs to become like INdia but they need to become one with INdia and then all will see prosperity.Sadly India has a different narrative going on Among the vocal groups and that will never facilitate a partnership with Pakistan. Hence the bad conditions In Pakistan and Afghanistan. I have seen in USa poorer areas people do work out of desperation in hazardous ways with less safety. I have seen in Japan too.

Here in South Africa we have over 30 % unemployment and people just don't have the will to do something for themselves. Lead acid batteries make electricity through a reaction between lead and sulfuric acid, which over time coats the lead in a sulfate which kills the battery. These people clean the lead and cast it into new electrodes, which can also be cleaned instead. Then he just replaces the acid and seals the battery. Hope that helps

They cast new grids with metallic lead. The powder is old battery plates that have been calcined in too lead oxide (monoxide) they then mix the powder with a weak sulfuric acid into a paste which is then spread into the grids. It’s allowed to dry and they they are put into groups and soak it in a strong sulfuric acid solution which I believe is called forming and it increases the surface area while also turning the lead oxide into lead sulfate and then when the battery is charged one plate is converted into sponge metallic lead and the other lead dioxide At least that’s how I understand it.

Impressive and really sad at the same time. My grandfather had an automotive radiator shop in the 70s-80s, and even with the reduced-lead content solder used then, he suffered from the effects of lead. He had a lot more protections in place than these people, and they're exposed non-stop to pure lead. I'm sad that every one of the people we just watched are going to die of lead poisoning and have nothing to show for it but their wages.

Until computerization eliminated lead plates in the 1970s, newspapers were produced using the linotype technology. Most of the risk was exposure through the skin when workers touched their lips. By wearing gloves and good ventilation the workers are probably safe at those temperatures. Some linotype workers did experience lead poisoning, but the majority did not. Electronics circuit board factories also use lead in solder, but lead poisoning is uncommon.
I wish the video used text to explain the steps.
