Thanks for this video. I am an older golfer, and I struggle to get 90 mph with my driver because my flexibility is not what it used to be. Usually my speed is more like 85. I just got the GX-7 driver and tried it out with a small bucket of balls. The distance was indeed good, perhaps not as long as my best drives, but I hit this MUCH more consistently than that long driver.
I still have one in 2024 and this club is very consistent, fairway 100% of the time. So if you struggle to stay in the fairway, this may be a good choice. But I don't game this club because it is so much shorter than the mini-driver I use, which is the Teeless. The teeless is not as long as a traditional driver either, but it goes about 30 yards longer than the GX-7. However, the teeless is not as consistent as the GX-7. I would say that the teeless is in the fairway 90-95% compared to near 100% for the GX-7. But both can be picked up cheap on Ebay, so I would try both.
I've owned one for a couple years. I pull it out when the driver is spraying all over the course. It definitely helps with accuracy, but when you only drive 210 and then go to 180 with the GX-7, you can forget reaching most par 4's in two.
This club still works. You still won’t hit many greens in regulation but it gives you the chance to scramble for a par or two putt for bogey. And for most of us, that’s not a terrible outcome. 🥹

Sweet Jesus, the silver fox is standing right in the kill zone!
That’s some balls on the old man
Dude kinda looks like “Shooter” McGaven?
So what exactly does it mean to hit it like a 7 iron
Swing like your seven iron?
How to you play the fairway woods that come with this 18 degree and 21 degree
2:13 pretty sure that's a true statement!....... even for the pros. lmao.
Anyone else thought he was going to shank it 😂
