23:37 Disregarding the token cap, I came up with: 129 1power creatures 9 2power creatures 1 5power creature = 139 total creatures at start of turn 12 landfall triggers (with playing dryad and looping fetch lands) Adds 524,301 creatures Plus craterhoof = 524,441 total creatures X 140 attacking creatures + 157 base power = 73,421,897 damage
Assuming you were just going to play/attack with the Craterhoof with no other tokens being made, you would have 19,757 damage going through. If you hit the token cap again (which only needs one land drop), you would have 72,109. You have 157 damage on board if you include Craterhoof, and 140 creatures on the board so: 157 + (140*140) = 19757.
Beautiful. When they’re big like this I normally just multiply the hoof ability with itself (for 1/1s) so I got around 19,400 with the quick hoof math method. It’s nice to see the actual number!
Weird, I got 19 473. First I assumed all the creatures had an initial base power of 0. So since there are 139 creatures on the board, that would represent 139×139 damage. I then added that value to the total power before the hoof pump which I had as 152. So total power = 139² + 152 = 19 473
Oh wild. Arena is treating MDFC lands as 2 permanents for Ascend. At 18:04 Legend only had two permanents, but Swordtooth counted 3, and at 18:33 he had three but it counted 5.
Probably unnecessary but Insidious Roots would turn the necrobloom tokens into mana dorks and would also buff any plants in addition to its own tokens if its main ability triggers. that’s been my pet card recently and might give it a home here lol
Nice! Just an extra addon, I would replace a land with Arid Archway since it can bounce itself for multiple landfall applications in one turn, it's become a key part in my Azusa deck!
It's actually 1 417 power in his squad (140 counters on each creature + the power of each creature currently on the field then add all the power of each creature including the behemoth.) ... its not multiplicative. Very impressive regardless. He asked for the current power.
Notification squad. I’m always interested to see peoples builds for this as I’m interested in building it in paper commander. I think you’ve found this really interesting balance between ramp and value that I haven’t seen in other lists yet. CRATERHOOF WOULD HAVE DONE ABOUT 30-40,000 dmg. 😱 😱 😱 that was just with what you had on board before the concede. Without the concede it would have done about 65-75,000 dmg provided no board clear. Sheesh.
if the only thing you did was drop craterhoof and attack it would deal 140 total creatures so the crater would add 140 to everything so 140 * 140 + (9*2) + 129 + 5 = 19752 damage. a lot of people already did the extra steps calculating the possible damage with and without the token limit.
So doing some quick math without the token cap, if you were able to untap, play your lands, then play hoof, you would have 4,262,197 power on board.
all of which could have been stopped by a humble fog

@@adedamolayusuff5995 You forgot to add the craterhoof itself; it's a 5/5 and it has haste so it will attack with the others once you play it.

Cool deck. Great set of games. Thanks.
I appreciate your in depth card analysis aka the "deep dive". Thank you for the detailed content.
My pleasure!
If I had a nickle everytime a "plant vz zombies" reference on LVD videos I would have 2 nickles wich isnt a lot but it happened twice

Not just the plants. All tokens if I’m remembering correctly.
@@theaeskey2502 All owned tokens gain a mana ability but the +1/+1 counters from the trigger would only get added to plant creatures, even nontokens!
This deck theme/flavour has actually made me interested in playing brawl again
Lol opp with the sleepy emote after getting hoofed. You're playing "steal your commander" enchantments, get outta here with that 😂40:07

Yeah it's perfect for Azusa or any commander that plays extra lands, although can be a little awkward if we don't draw one of those effects.

been brewing around with this guy a little bit, cultivator collossus goes pretty hard with this guy and i'm trying to make something with that
Assuming you play the lands for tokens, uncapped, and then hoof, you will have enough damage to kill the opponent.
if the only thing you did was drop craterhoof and attack it would deal 140 total creatures so the crater would add 140 to everything so 140 * 140 + (9*2) + 129 + 5 = 19752 damage. a lot of people already did the extra steps calculating the possible damage with and without the token limit.
Surprised not to see Omenpath Journey in this deck. Seems like it was made for it.
Maybe if Field of the Dead were legal in Brawl, otherwise we can do better than just getting one extra land per turn.

Does the swamp toilet I mean Necrobloom better than Arena version Omnath?
Hey lvd what’s your read on the new mdfc’s from MH3. Do you think they make brewing multi-colored deck easier or not?
They are a nice option for deck building, but they don't redefine anything.
Are you ever gonna make modern videos on modo again? :)
Damage on the game against Muldrotha would have been a little over 19,600.
Letss goooooo The necrobloom my beloved
Mas que jogadas foi essas... ?
about 16k if you just played behemoth and attacked.
if my math is correct 19,473 damage
Token limit is 250 and 250×250 is over 65,000, and that's not counting non token creatures as well.
*That's a lot of damage*
