"C.I.S. March" was used by the Separatist Droid Army during the Clone Wars, which began in 22BBY until 19BBY. The Confederacy was formed from outer-rim worlds and ran by major banking clans, trade federations, and other large companies who were from the outer-rim.

Gotta love The Clone Wars in how everyone has stormtrooper aim, missing stationary/moving in a straight line targets from 10 yards away - except for Commando Droids.
To be fair no one has sights on their guns

Nothing can top the Imperial March, but this is definitely an amazing close second. While the Imperial March makes me think of total control they hold over the galaxy, the CIS March makes me think of the near infinite legions of droids coming to kill everyone who stands in their path. Especially at 0:26, I imagine them all marching out in single file.
The Imp March is the Immovable Object
The CIS March is the Unstoppable Force
if I'm not mistaken, in the prequels, they actually do play that part over the horde of battle droids a few times.
Nah this is better than Imperial march
In my opinion CIS Is better then imp march but thi is just a remake
I actually prefer rogue one's imperial suite over the original imperial march but that's just me i guess
It's safe to say they would've won if it weren't for Palpatine pulling the strings.

And we reserve the Imperial March for the Furries.
Besides the overall triumphant nature of this anthem, there's also a sense of tragedy. Especially once the strings start coming in. The CIS was doomed to fail from the start, but the droids kept marching on. I think that's why the rhythm slows down later in the song, then picks back up. Because no matter what the corrupt Republic throws at them, the droids will keep sending themselves into the fight. Millions of elite clones and thousands of Jedi warriors, yet their mechanical hearts will never break.

Hey, I know that song. My grandpa used to sing it when I was young. He fought on the side of the Separatists. When the war was over, he moved from Umbarra to Nar Shaddaa.
Thank you for bringing to me that memory.
That's quite the change of environment, are the family still in Nar Shaddaa?
@@nationeer No, thanks the Force. Sadly, Nar Shaddaa was one of the few places where they could be safe from Palpatine's regime. Only after fall of the Empire, they moved back to Umbarra, although my grandfather met his wife ( my grandmother ) on Nar Shaddaa, so not everything was so bad.
Better than my family. Our freight company that ran legal cargo between Neutral and Confederate system before and during the war, got "volunteered" to serve the Republic when their fleet popped into Christophis. My father and mother's ship was the only one of our 50 affiliated family members to survive the war but was stuck in Imperial service. I was born 13BBY when the imps took even that from us and "settled" us on correllia and conveniently found my father a job in the shipyard where he eventually died. Mother cooked in a cafe and just after Yavin was killed in the crossfire of a gang fight. I joined Corsec to hunt them down but was not good enough nor connected well enough to make it happen.
When you secede from the Republic to escape those stinky megacorporations only for you to be exploited harder by said megacorporations who also seceded:
You sound like a republic dog
>Where was the republic during the slave trades ?
>Where was the republics support for the outer rim during times of need ?
>what about the unfair taxes ?
>what about the pro core world stance ?
>what about the pro human stance of the republic ?
>What about its army of slaves
Hope you realize if our planet was found by the republic we would be taxed and our trade reduced while the republic abandons us when we need help. At least the separatists would give us the means to defend ourselves from those bandits
Stupid Republic dog.

Gotta love how Star Wars' Palpy managed to paint people who wanted independence as the bad guys.
Good thing nothing like that could happen in real life, right?
@@AlgidSquid America be like: when someone wants free from corp overlords
Instead of Palpatine coming back it should've been the whole CIS army
Still would've made more sense
That would’ve been awesome and made more sense
One of the many reasons why the prequel era Star Wars has that epic feel that the rest doesn’t.
In cinema and TV, most times the good guys will move from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen. The eye tends to read from left to right, and so physical movements in that direction seem natural, while movements from right to left seem inexplicably tense and uncomfortable, and it's NOT a coincidence that the majority of CIS v Republic battles show the Droids fighting on screen from left to right.
This depends on what way your language writes. Right-to-left languages have the same psychological effects in the other direction.
@@KopperNeoman That said, I'm fairly certain the vast majority of people making Hollywood and Bollywood productions were raised with left->right written languages.
Of the 300ish written languages of the world in use today, a mere 12 read right to left. A small 4% minority.
Wow it’s pretty true. I do feel more tense imagining them coming from the right for some reason. Weird.
That might be because of the Cold War. I have no source, but it makes sense if you look north from the south.
I always thought it was amazing the CIS had their own theme, and grievous had his own theme.
This has always had my vote for one of the underrated bangers
Please do more Star Wars marches, this is an absolute banger.
A masterpiece of a theme for the most underrated army in the galaxy
When you realise Dooku was on the verge of stopping Palpatine, he was this close
My great uncle Wells was a Japanese prisoner of war in Singapore and worked on the Death railway 🚂. He was captured on 13 th February 1942 it was the 80 th annerversary last Sunday he's not with us Now one of the lucky men to come home so many thousands died .The far East war is the forgotten war . Always remember him . Like so many service personnel lost over the years .Lest we forget .We shall always remember them .Class tune 🙏👏
I’ll never forget the time my dad and I drove around our city in his big work van with this banger blasting and the windows rolled down. It was fucking hilarious
Well, this is something really new and unexpected , but good anyway! hope you will upload marches of the Republic and Empire too! But now we have to.. Roger-roger!
To quote the big Fella himself, „A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!“
1:14 is my favorite part ever since Episode 1
one thing i will always love about Clone Wars are the personalities of the droids. Especially the usual grunts
The Republic may have an army of Jedi and elite child soldiers, but they will never match the CIS’s impeccable drip
I love how in star wars the antagonists get the best themes.
They are the good guys tho
The antagonists(good guys) aways get the best theme
@@ELIXFUDIDO Ok I just have to say that while yes the C.I.S. politicians or rather the individual worlds and leaders (except the Trade Federation) have good intentions but the military, for which this march is, are in fact evil. They enslave and straight up genocide worlds. However if Palpatine and Dooku had no influence in the C.I.S. they would have been the good guys.
I love that theres similarities between this and the GAR march, could be seen as showing that both factions were masterminded by the same person
I love the Droid Army theme. It really evokes the idea of an endless army of soldiers marching relentlessly out of a factory.
