Great video. Ive slowly improved my interview skills with these videos you have made. Before practice, I would make my interview answers more submissive and in a third person tone. But now my answers are more affirmative and has a lot of key words such as 'I believe I made the correct decision,' instead of 'I felt/think.' I then follow this up with reiterating my strong affirmative set of beliefs I have and which I followed, which gives the interviewer a subtle tone that I am consistent with my phiosphy in a workplace. This comment may seem bone dry, but key words make a huge difference in interviews, and be affirmative = it helps show you are confident.

This is quite helpful for me to prepare for an interview. One thing in mind is that for strengths and weaknesses question should reflect on a honest, organic answer from the interviewee themselves. Anyone can detect artificiality in the answer. Overpromising but with a risk of underdelivering.

I would suggest the better answer is cash flows from operating activities as a stronger answer than simply cash flows. All GAAP based statements of cash flows clearly show cash flows from operating activities in their reports.
I completely stumbled on the "how would you ensure the data in a financial report is accurate" even though I practiced and was ready for it. I completely blanked when it came up and I am so mad at myself.... DAMMIT!

Sir i got rejection mail from xl dyanamics. But frankly speaking i attended my test without any grammatical errors and simple words. Then what will be the reason behind rejection. Could i reapply for this before 3 months from another email address. This company was my only hope
Hi - I'm so sorry to hear that! In that situation, I would contact them and ask for feedback on why you were not chosen, and also ask if you can reapply/when. The reasons for rejection can be varied, so it is difficult to comment! I wish you the best for the future!

Having personal meaning behind why you are choosing to be an FA while blending it with functions of the job is better interviewing skills than those cold hard geeky answers that sound like you read them out of a handbook.
@@CareerVidz If I’m conducting an interview this first question is just a litmus test to see if this person has soft skills. Can they smile, be personable, and communicate effectively. I’m not looking for someone to regurgitate a boiler plate sentence like this.
These answers are way too prepared. Organisations don't want this anymore its too dated. Interviews these days are more laid back and they want you to just speak off the top of your head not have prepared answers.

@@CareerVidz If I’m conducting an interview this first question is just a litmus test to see if this person has soft skills. Can they smile, be personable, and communicate effectively. I’m not looking for someone to regurgitate a boiler plate sentence like this.
These answers are way too prepared. Organisations don't want this anymore its too dated. Interviews these days are more laid back and they want you to just speak off the top of your head not have prepared answers.

Please help with possible interview questions a financial services environment, specifically in the accounting area; and
· knowledge and skills in applying the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Additional requirements include having knowledge of and experience in working with:
· accounting of financial instruments;
· financial markets ; and
· relevant legislation .
The following would be an added advantage:
· the ability to app ly IFR S , w i th s pe c i f ic r e f e r e n c e t o t h e s t a n da rds t h a t d ea l w ith f i n an cial i n s trum en t s ; and
· skills in:
- analysis and p ro b l e m-s o l v ing;
- c om m un i c a ti o n ( v e rb a l an d w r i t te n);
- presentation ;
- managing i n t e r p e rso na l relationships;
- liais o n; and
- IT (intermediate to advance).
