  • NYC 8th Avenue Raw & Uncut Footage - AGGRESSIVE HOMELESS!
    Walking 8th Avenue in midtown Manhattan New York City.
    You will see SIGNIFICANT improvement as the NYPD has done a great job with cleaning much of the street up.
    Progress is being made, but more work needs to be done.
    NYC is moving in the right direction.

    I dunno. Doesn’t look so bad to me. Most people I see come off as normal and safe. Streets are cleaner than I thought.

      I agree! So much progress has been made on 8th Avenue lately.
      Just a few months ago it was soooooo much worse. This is by far the cleanest I’ve seen it.
      Also only 3 or 4 people flicked me off or screamed at me.

    Walking in nyc is really like playing Russian roulette these days, just never know what kind of crazy you’ll see, and with all the drugs and mental illness and desperate immigrants, just not worth living in a city like that, but I do enjoy your videos from afar. Be safe

    I must be missing something as all I see is a typical busy city with a lot of tourists mixed with some interesting characters. I always enjoy walking this particular stretch of 8th Ave as it's so colorful. I actually remember when this was way more threatening and dangerous in the 1980s so it's been cleaned up a lot.

    • @ExperienceNewYorkCity
      @ExperienceNewYorkCity  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      See description: just in the last 3/4 months this has been cleaned up A LOT by the NYPD, so much progress being made especially outside of the migrant shelters.

      Honestly I thought the same thing when I filmed this today.
      It’s like Russian roulette in NYC - 99% of the time you will be fine but 1% of the time you can be the target of crazy outbursts.
      Kind of like the people who get randomly stabbed or slashed on the train by a crazy person.
      Most walk past that same crazy person everyday, but one day they snap randomly and you have the bad luck of being the person that walks past at the wrong time.

    Wow! Not much difference from your night videos. Have you considered using a 360 camera so viewers can interact with the video? That would be sweet. They're terrible for night time recording, but they do pretty good for daytime recording. You could wear a hat to conceal your identity if you're concerned about that. That man at 36:01 saved that woman's life. Good stuff. Thanks for producing and sharing.

    I envision a culturally diverse, large community where people can pursue their goals without fear of being targeted randomly. Unfortunately, some parts of New Zealand experience isolated dangerous incidents, and in these cases, police use CCTV footage to track down criminals. Being a small country criminals can run from the law but can't hide for long.
