- 9 ball returns in the new year. Bit of a dive bar and it shows. Hope you enjoy!

A suggestion to maybe help grow the channel IMO would be to not only call where you want to play shape but how you’re playing it. You’re very good at playing shape, not everyone knows exactly where to hit the CB to get the result.
5:04 No idea how that bank worked, but daaam... good shot.
18:44 Now, idk the table like you do, but it looked like a good hit to me. I think if he hit the 7 first, the 7 would have touched the 3, meanwhile the cue would have likely contacted the 4 as well; OR after contact with the 1, the cue would have taken a more angled path away from the 4 (towards the bottom side pocket). Instead, the cue nudges the 7 and avoids the 4, BUT the cue does contact the 3. So, that makes me think he hit the 1 first at a slight angle and hit the 7 THEN the 3 following a path towards the top left corner from the camera's perspective.
36:57 I think what happened was the 7 was being hit at an angle induces natural spin on the cue, so putting outside spin improved the angle after contact with the rail. Probably should have done straight top instead. It was a half ball hit, so it looked like it was going to fly towards the diamond just before the side anyway.
Overall, solid game bud! You hung in there!
@18:50 the tight 1 ball was a good hit. 1/4 speed shows it to be so.
Gotta hate dive bar tables lol. Played well tho keep it up 🔥
I get what Dave is saying but pdn didn’t mention the bar name so no harm no foul and the bar may not know about table conditions and may need to know what’s wrong so they can address it.
Anyways great video buddy, keep the good work.
Hey, I always enjoy your videos. You're an amazing player. Saying what you're doing with the cue ball is informative. That said I have some concerns. You say dive bar like it's a bad thing. They wrote that song "God I love this bar" for a reason! Please remember the owner, the bartenders, the cooks and the servers rely on this for a living and disrespecting their place of employment isn't very nice. The condition of the tables aren't necessarily the bars responsibility, they are usually just rented from a supplier and getting them to keep them in good condition is pretty hard. Please be nice to them!
Dive bars are typically known for less than stellar pool playing quality, that’s all. I don’t think he meant anything as a dig towards dive bars overall.
I didn't mean this to give him trouble! I was just asking if he could be nicer with his comments! I enjoy his videos too much to think I've made him mad at me.
@@davelariviere ohhhh, I get you. For sure haha
no harm he hit it right np,, your shot
Birdmun is right. It was good hit on the 1 ball. The 7 ball would have rolled further had it been a bad hit.
Can I assume this bar is perhaps a building that doesn't have a lot of room for your elbows? They changed our division this year. So I don't get a chance to redeem myself against your team. 😊
Hey man 2:59 there was no reason to not stay down on the stroke. You poked at the ball which made it come back and you could have just stroked through and it would have come off the rail naturally.
I play APA 9-ball as well. We play on a valley coin-op bar box just like this one, but we always bring a nice set of Aramith balls to use. Just wondering why you guys don't swap out those gross balls for some nice ones on league night
This particular bar actually has nicer balls for leagues. Unfortunately, these were them. Don't think they have been cleaned since they got them. We used to have balls with us wherever we went. Guessing the captain decided to stop.
Man I like your videos but the incessant complaining about the equipment in this one gets tiring quick.
Home field advantage in this case. He's used to the crappy table and dirty balls.
Can you use magic racks?
@@edo522 if both players agree, yes. I didn't have anyvwoth me that night. I've since restocked.
@pdn in my local league, it's similar rules. What amazes me is the number of folks that play on very terrible bar boxes and tell me, "No way, they could affect the travel of the ball." Really? How about all the divots, dead rails, dirty balls, fuzz balls and every other table defect?
34:12 - - Shouldn't you have gotten 2 points for that 9 ball?
Didn't I?
