So a fun fact place I grew up has a river running straight through the middle of it, and my father used to always make jokes that the "skeletons" in the closet of the town were in the river. I never believed it until someone found a disposed of Lee Enfield .303 in the river in a tarp that was weighted down with a few rocks. It wasn't found with a magnet, however, it was found during low tide when someone hooked onto the tarp with a fishing line and pulled a chunk of it to shore. The water was calm enough and shallow enough to wade out and swim to it. It's amazing how much the water can hide dark history.

I got a 1500 pound Brute force magnet. Found it on the bottom of the marina with my 550 Kratos bobber! Someone had it on too thin a rope that broke. Took my 550 and my husband's 950 Kratos clamp dredge to recover the Brute from some rebar. We had been in the market for one, finders keepers!
