- Hello everyone, I'd like to share with you the new arrival product-14.3kWh wall-mounted LiFePO4 Battery!
Some clients are interested in the compatible list of our battery pack.
In the video, I would like to share with you how to make a communication to Victron Inverter.
For the Victron inverter, the pin definition is 7H and 8L to the VE. CAN port
Send the inquiry via the Alibaba link or Email: sales05@basen-power.com
This is the beginning of a very exciting journey! Welcome to share your experience with DIY Lifepo4.
Thank you for clarifying that it's a RS-485 cable. Many of the videos on this device say it's a RS-232.
I am looking at buying one of these and have read great reviews on it. Great work.
Thanks, any interested, just feel free to contact Tom Chen, WA: +86 18620387062
Ho già acquistato 2 BOX basen, vanno benissimo, facili da configurare, ottimo lavoro.
Hello my friend, thanks for your support! Wish you sunshine every day!
sei riuscito a collegare il can bus al victron? io sto avendo qualche problema, ti posso chiedere qualche info?
@@GabrieleBonetti si, certo, funziona tutto bene, per quanto mi riguarda l'assistenza Basen e davvero fenomenale...
Any video using an SMA SUNNY ISLAND INVERTER?? This kind of content will just bring new customers in.
What is the pc app so we can have a look?
Interesting video, a translation as a subtitle would have been excellent, even in English 💯
Hello Francesco, thanks for your advice, you can use the subtitiles that comes from TH-cam and we will update the subtitile in the next video!
Hi, I just tried this with a bansen diy kit + victron mutiplus 2 gx, which has directly a VE-CAN port.
Changed the can protocol to victron, first pin up, checked 3 times that i crimped the rj45 correctly but still I don't get the SOC visible.
Any suggestion on how to debug?
This should work the same on the multiplus gx without the cerbus right? Thanks
Have you got it working? I'm trying to connect the basen-green battery to the Cerbo-gx. No luck so far.
Will they communicate with EG4 6000xp inverter? Or the 18KPV?
Hello, my friend, I am not sure, but you can check the manual, our battery is deployed with Pylon RS485/CAN protocol
Hi there!!
Im interested to buy two 5kw battery.
May i know the connection with the inverter. Is there any video with battery connection s more than one?
Wil that battery works good with my Easun inverter?
Hello friend,
In our experience, our battery is compatible with EASUN by using Pylon RS485 protocol, regarding the parallel connection, you can easily find how to do it in our manual.
welcome to contact Tom Chen.

@@Tom-BasenBattery don't you have any fotos or video? Even from manual?
Make you a video for connect to the Growatt SPH inverter?
Thanks for your proposal, we don't have the SPH series now, only SPF is available. Maybe we will update in a few days.
Hy
Is the RS485 to USB Cable in scope of delivery
It's included in the standard packing list
PLS Make you a video for connect to Daxtromn inverters
Thanks for your advise, we don't have Daxtromn inverter yet......
battery to victron cable can, how is it? What pin configuration does it have?
Just using the blue cable from Victron. Victron ports Pin: 7H 8L
@@Tom-BasenBattery there are 2 types (type A and also type B) of VE.Can to CAN-bus BMS cables on the market. Which one shell I use for the connection between the victron inverter and your BMS / Battery? Can you offer a full technical description of the Battery in the video description above?
Type A uses:
Victron Inverter side: GND Pin 3, Can-L Pin 8, Can-H Pin 7
Battery side: GND Pin 6, Can-L Pin 5, Can-H Pin 4
Type B uses:
Victron Inverter side: GND Pin 3, Can-L Pin 8, Can-H Pin 7
Batter side: GND Pin 2, Can-L Pin 5, Can-H Pin 4
thx & greets from germany ;)
@@TheHunter0077 Type A is fine
What Type of Battery-System shell I configure in the Victron VE Configure Software in my Victron Multiplus 2 GX Inverter? You can find it unter "assistent -> assistent configuration"
There are the following Options:
"system uses LiFePo4 batteries with a VE.Bus BMS"
"system uses LiFePo4 batteries with a two-signal BMS"
"system uses LiFePo4 batteries with other type BMS (this can be either a BMS connected via CAN bus or a BMS system in which the batteries are protected from high/low cell voltages by external equipment)
"system uses LiFePo4 batteries with a VE.Bus BMS"
@@Tom-BasenBattery are you quite sure? Because you plugged the battery can bus cable in the CAN bus port of the Victron GX Display device and not in the VE.bus Port...
@@TheHunter0077There are multiple ways to set up the communication:
1. Connect the inverter VE-bus BMS port for direct communication.
2. Cerbo GX connects VE-CAN port to battery CAN port, return to inverter settings-service-VE.CAN port -Can bus profile-CAN BUS BMS (500kbit/s)
3. Color control VE CAN to battery CAN port (crimped wire), VE BUS to inverter VE BUS port (supplied blue wire)
@@Tom-BasenBattery Thanks, which cable solution should be used for Option 1, 2 and 3? I have an MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32 GX Inverter, so which Solution of the three given Options is the best for me? (for example: most details, Infos, etc. are shared over the connection?)
