Hey, thanks so much for letting us download those. I've recently been playing Advanced and recording for TH-cam. Ran into the problem of constantly flipping through the book, this helps a lot! Now I just gotta find the monster cards and possibly the original instructions. Great job on the videos.

I've been thinking of doing something similar. I've made a template on my computer to print out card outlines that match the size of an old card game I used to play. I can print them out, write on them and cut them out then put them in a sleeve together with a tip card or some other useless card from the card game with a sleeve that is opaque on the other side. What I've wanted to do is make enough cards so there would be a card of each size room with a door on each side or all configurations of multiple doors. And do the same with hallways, doors and junctions / turns.
Ah! Yes, a similar system existed Advanced Space Crusade, although that was a lot less individual tiles, rather just lots of larger ones. It’d certainly be a lot of work but a very visually pleasing system, this was our compromise so as to be completely true to all the permutations and percentage chances in the original game with a few cards as possible. If you use the dungeon generation tables from the AHQ supplement “The Quest for the lichemaster” as your base system (and we do intend to do a variation version of this particular system using that next year) you could potentially stream line it even more. Good luck with your idea it sounds solid and although lots of work will definitely be very rewarding once complete
Great job ... one question in the game when you leave a room there is a 50% chance of a corridor and 50% chance of a room. how does your cards handle that?
Excellent question! We tend to fall back on to using dice for that one and use the usual rule, evens for passages and odds for rooms and then draw the appropriate card. Although sometimes the GM has just made a decision either way depending on the map generated so far. Very astute point. Thank you for your question!!!

Thank you! Yes, we’re working on some different character types at the moment, we’ve already got the bard archetype up on our channel but two more in the works. Want to do some alternate dungeon generation decks, streamlined magic system and revisit skills. All these will have cards etc to download with them too. We’ve thought a bit about the monster matrices and I’ve one idea for an alternate system that would be akin to a monster deck but in no way prohibitive, it’d allow you to use what models you have available. So quite a lot in the pipeline
Ah now, yes that is something we have looked and want to do actually. It looks like it’ll be easier to do than this set was. Thanks for the reminder. 👍
