I think it's good Couse in oulv's gadgets videos on the new boombox 2 you can hear the deep bass outdoors like in indoors which is a good improvement the outdoor mode on the boombox 1 is ok but the bass is around 70 hz which is really bad bass compare to the indoor mode which has really nice and deep bass of 50 hz

Outdoor mode was useless .. less bass .. higher treble with already annoying treble ... nice move they did removing it ... it always has great sound now no need for a button to make it worse in my opinion
Here is how to describe the polishing it is much like the party box 100 polishing, also it is cut different so the charging wire doesn’t bend when being charged as when it was on the bottom it would somethings bend the wire so now it will keep it more straight

In my opinion older design looks better. New design looks like some Chinese speaker. The circle around passive radiators and the JBL sign could at least be like on Charge 4, Flip 5, Xtreme 2. Although best passive radiators are aluminum ones, like on Boombox 1. Same design for Charge 4, Flip 5, Xtreme 2 and Boombox 2 but aluminum passive radiators, would be perfect (and the circle around the passive radiators on Boombox 2 should be like on Charge 4, Flip 5 and Xtreme 2).
Connect plus was awesome, I don't even understand the need for partyboost, other than for planned obsolescence. Wouldn't be buying another JBL product for awhile because they don't know how to integrate good backward compatibility. If I were them, I'd have made the jbls compatible with all the old and new technology (with perhaps some limitations), because Tbh I don't think it's that hard to do this software wise.
I'm with you in this. I understand the need to move forward in tech but backward compatibility with some limitations perhaps would have been a way better roll out 🤷♂️

Both bro just buy both honestly. U can’t go wrong with 2 different type of speakers. Try them out and if u don’t like one return it. If u like both keep them. There top of the line.

@@DLXWillington I think they really should. Of course it's more about subtlety as the difference is not always obvious. But personally I prefer having higher bitrate like with LDAC, more suitable to high resolution music files. The basic audio codec hasn't evolved yet while the Bluetooth data rate has evolved a lot (2 mbps now)

I wouldn't even bother the JBL party box 100 it's a good one but all the others nah the boombox 2 sounds similar to the original boombox so Aiwa exos-9 would win but the way I see it the Aiwa exos-9 is a indoor speaker where the boombox 1 and 2 is outdoor speaker so if you get water on the Aiwa it's dead but the JBL would live and a party box 100 sounds better. Than the Aiwa exos-9 outdoors but indoors exos-9 sounds better.
