These theory's about Sportsters are ridiculous. A vstar 250 could sit on highway speeds all day, and the sportster has a fair bit more grunt than one of those. The sportster 883's I had, easily sat on highways speeds all day, and could easily go well over those speeds. Unfortunately, too many people who have never rode one, have an opinion.
I know I’m a whole two electoon seasons late, but wouldn’t the bike be revving to high? I suppose you could take it for a put put on the highway but I wonder if it would hurt the bike at all
I just took my 883 on a 1400 mile trip from Ohio to Missouri and back. 75-80 mph all day long didnt skip a beat. Not the most comfortable but the 883 will do it.
Sounds great. Nowhere near obnoxious but I personally dig that. Has a modest lil bit of that beautiful Harley rumble. I'm torn between getting an 883 & a 1200. Heart says 1200, wallet says 883 lol
I have one of these, i put the stock pipes back on it, and ride it like a vintage bike. Goddamn it is a smooth ride. Super busy Bangkok traffic or Highway speeds the bike does it all no problem
Guys what's the difference between these older 883s and the face-lifted Iron 883 version from 2011 (I think) onwards? Is it only anesthetics, like lack of chrome etc.?
The handlebars on the Iron are different from the Low, so your position is a bit more hunched over. I believe the Iron also has a sportier suspension as well. I should also say that that technical descent of this bike is the Superlow, which was a little bit lower and had the kinda ugly walnut gas tank (that tank ruins it for me. sporties deserve peanut tanks!).
Ahahhahahaa the 883 the girls bike, they are huge money pits too because youll sell it soon when you realize they are girl bikes, slow and you'll be embarrassed when people laugh at you for being on a slow beginner girl bike, you're not cool.

Have an 07 883c as my first bike and loving every bit of it so far, awesome little bike

If I leave the house with an extra helmet on the bike, should my wife be worried???
They used to race these in their own class in Australia called the Roaring Sporties. Some basic mods and these ride well and are a good all rounder.
Stg this dude has a video on every bike in every year
“Can you fit your girl on the back? Depends on how big your girl is” 🤣 Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Are those drag pipes? Cuz they look and sound amazing
Do you know if there mirrors could fit on a Honda Shadow VT600?
Fast enough and sounds lovely.

I think there might be a slight power increase, don’t quote me on that though
I prefer this older chopper look sometimes, I’m also looking at these

Love your videos sir. I just bought my first bike. Honda shadow aero 750. Now i just got to get my license 😩
2007
So did you get your license?
Not a bad price. They aren't light. They weigh more than a BMW R1200GS.
how have you not sold this yet?
4100!!! You are insane....good luck
i am interested in taking a look at the harley 883. how can we contact?
+Ambrocio Alcaraz text or call the number at srkcycles.com
I'll give you a whole years labor for a ride like that.
I wanna work in exchange..

Biggest loser on the internet worrying about what other people do.
@@kerry_yeieh16 found another 883 rider in denial!🤣🤣🤣😂😂😁🤣
I agree. if you dont ride a Boss Hoss, you are a woman and should not enjoy life.
Great bikes Sportsters, had loads of them, sold my Softail Heritage to buy another, easier to handle, much more fun
