Cruise control is a gamechanger mate. It is amazing to see how far you have progressed on your bike journey. Bike looks very nice too. Look forward to riding with you one day.
I reckon you've done well skilling-up on the small and medium cruisers, you had the whole skillset ready for this beast. The long straight roads you've got, cruise control must be amazing. I've searched for a 6th gear on both the Intruder and the Shadow - I can imagine your joy heheh! That seat looks fantastic. Enjoyed this vid. I'm so happy for you mate, very very cool.
I've got a 2005 1600cc Nomad bagger in 2024. Stock, mostly and simple beauty. Looks great, sounds great, runs great. These Kawasaki's are beautiful machines. What more could you want.
I have a 2011 Vulcan Nomad 1700. I’m about a year in. Two riding seasons now. Motorcycle Camping is awesome with this bike. Cruises very nice… I agree that it is a bit cumbersome at slow speeds, but like you, I’m getting better that that.
Wonderful to hear about your experience 12 months into ownership, thank you so much for sharing! I really do think this is a great bike which will serve me well for many trips.
Send your ecu to Ivan tunes! It changes the whole bike! I have that exact bike here in the states.k&n air and I debaffled the pipes(I cut them down and pulled the baffles out)sent ecu you to Ivan and man what a difference!
The guy I bought it from reckons it's got an Ivan's ECU in it, but I am not so sure how to tell. It's definitely been flashed, I can feel that - but with what? Unconfirmed. Your bike must go hard with the K&N, tuned up wuth that ECU and debaffled. Nice one, thanks so much for commenting!
U make great videos and I am gonna buy my 2008 Vulcan nomad 1600. I also seen the fuel gay and said what the heack that’s so cool . And now with all the other things u said it has I also wanna be spoiled and have cruise control ❤
Get yourself some octane booster, and use low grade fuel. It is sometimes cheaper, but I do not care of the octane. I put 87 octane, non-ethanol fuel, and my shadow is happy with it.
Yeah cool. I have the option of ethanol based or 98 octane and it specifically mentions this bike should not have fuel that contains ethanol. Rural Australia has limited fuel options!
You have come such a long ways on two wheels in a such a very short time. I'm happy to have gotten to see this journey. All the vest, Spencer.
Thank you so much, Eric. I'm so thankful to know you.

I also notice the extra cost of fuel on my R3. Love it though.
