My only gripe with the Sonic mod is that Sonic has the Sm4sh splits down smash instead of the infinite sign spin dash he had in Brawl. Other than that this is pretty awesome. I actually wanna try it if I had any knowledge how smash modding worked
I think they gave him that so less of his moves would be just a spindash. The reason they gave him so many spindash moves in Brawl was because they didn’t have any more time to work on him lol
If Sonic was officially added as a fighter in Smash Bros 64 back in 1999 and in Smash Bros melee back in 2001 now that will be really cool and awesome. 💙🦔💙
God Melee AI is so annoying to fight on higher difficulties. All the do is jab to interrupt whatever you're doing, until you're high enough for them to rush you down, not to mention them SDIing any multi hit, I hate it
They also spam nair at any free frame they could potentially put out the move. Don’t get me started on how they perfect shield every projectile effectively giving every A.I opponent a reflector
I remembered before mods were a thing, fake screenshots with Sonic and more characters were out of control when players were not convinced that those screenshots were fake and an april fools prank and made the other players and pranksters goes nuts, and now that mods exist after all those years, those screenshots aren’t fake anymore
Hm, I wonder if the crew behind the Akaneia Build are willing to collaborate with the crew behind Smash Remix. Because aside from the Melee newcomers in Remix, Akaneia shares a few of its additional fighters with it (namely Lucas, Sonic and Wolf), and if they worked together, we could see Charizard and Diddy Kong in Remix, and Wario, King Dedede and Dark Samus in Akaneia faster.
Those people at Akaneia went above and beyond with Sonic here. I thought Smash 2's model of Sonic was the most believable design for him in Melee, but nope, Akaneia created something more believable! And while most of the moveset is the same mediocre one we'd rather have changed up, it was understandably kept to add to the believability factor of if those rumours were true and he was actually in Melee. And trophies dedicated to the added characters...? Freakin' awesome! Though Sonic's Classic Trophy doesn't give him a unique model, which is a bit odd, but it is based off of official artwork of him, so there's that at least.

@kpc9602 I believe the difficulty has to be 'Normal' or higher and that you have to get to the end of Adventure within 15 minutes i believe..? Could be wrong its been a while since i tried. :p
