I love playing Super Smash Flash 2, definitely it has changed over the years. Crusade is interesting but the PM Remix is definitely sick. I’d definitely would love to try it out

I just recently got PM EX REMIX and it's really damn fun! If you hold L then press start while selecting sonic or shadow you can play super sonic and super shadow! and it's badass as HELL!! 😂
I love how for Smash Bros. Crusade, you can hear the hype in the announcer's voice when he says Waluigi. It's like the announcer himself has been waiting for him to get in.

The real reason is the demand for non-game japanese stuff like Anime has existed for longer and more loudly in the fandom, even on the japanese official smash polls, specially because Smash is a japanese game with almost entirely japanese IPs. So stuff like Spiderman and even Shrek felt like a way harder reality, and we more sidelined as memes or pipe dreams, so their popularity within smash fandom reduced heavilly.
My overall thoughts on each roster Remix: From a perspective of a mod that builds on Smash 64, this is pretty good. Most of the newcomers make sense both from the 1st and 3rd party perspective. - Bowser, King Dedede, Mewtwo and Marth were considered to be in the actual Smash before their actual debut - Banjo was one of the big Melee requests that didn’t make the cut at first - Conker, Marina & Goemon are my favorite additions to this roster. - I also like how they went into the scrapped idea of team Starfox having alts, it’s pretty neat! - Mad Piano and Master Hand are good joke characters for this game 👍 Akaneia: I guess this one’s unfinished according to the announcer calls, but has some good additions overall like Diddy Kong, Sonic, and Charizard. SSF2: Ok, I might have a bit of bias towards this one but this how you do a Smash roster without making it too big. All the essentials are here, along with some fan favorite newcomers, like Waluigi, Bandana Dee and Isaac. They don’t miss with the 3rd parties either since they stuff like Bomberman, Rayman, and Tails. Hint that the games also infamously known for being one of the 1st devs to add 4th party characters to Smash Games like Goku, Naruto so that’s also a plus for me. They also have the best Sandbag. PMEX Remix: Well there’s a lot going on here so I’ll list some of the inclusions I like. - Black Shadow - Toon Zelda - Sans - Metal Sonic - Sub Zero Crusade: I joined this around game earlier this year and I’d say it’s on par with SSF2, with some things that make it both better and worse. Besides that tho, it still has a great roster. These are the inclusions I like. - Scizor & Dante (they were added in the newest update as of August 30th) - Tingle - Goomba (he’s funny) - Klonoa - The Digimon - Crash Bandicoot - Shantae Weegee and Tetromino are quite… interesting inclusions too, but I also usually like my joke characters. 👍

My favorites were Smash Remix, Smash Flash 2 and Smash Crusade. They're all naming the characters in the select screen. And like the official games, they're all have the same 12 N64 cast.
And meanwhile my own Super Smash Bros. Mods/Fan-Games do a lot of favorism toward Star Fox, Skylanders, Transformers, Digimon, Mario, Zelda, Sonic, Mega Man characters and more while I ignore Pokemon, Fire Emblem and Kirby, which it's not a big surprise as I create my own mods during my spare time for Brawl and that I don't care about Pokemon and Fire Emblem so I can say my own personalized Super Smash Bros Brawl game is more better than Ultimate ^^
You know, I used to have a fan character game idea for super smash bro melee where they could add some Nintendo characters from like when we had like super smash ultimate but also who I wanted to recruit was bomber man because I used to thought he was a Nintendo character
If you use emulator and like for fun matches Smash Universe is the best Brawl modpack (Well only need a small fix on an exaggerated eletric sfx I have the archives to do it lol) It´s like to pick the PMex Remix and expand it the most, sacrificing a bit the quality for to have isane amount of crazy content
If i had a nickel for every time Super Sonic was a selectable character in a Smash Bros. Fan game, i’d have 2 nickels which isn’t alot but it’s weird that it happened twice
