Ive used my freesat box for years and dont use the terrestrial aerial t my satellite dish does the same job cancel sky just screw the same fitting to your box.The only downfall is your box will only let you see in the region just use your satellite dish no aerial needed the box will tell you obviously how many channels in the region when you set it up.i have Netflix for movies but not paying stupid money every year.

Would have been helpful if you had shown which apps offer which channels
BBC iPlayer all the bbc channels ITVX all the itv channels channel 4 all the channel 4 ones and my 5 all the channel 5 channels
Tell us something we don’t know it’s not freeviwe you can’t get freeviwe without an Ariel freely will be available this year
You won't get live tv until Freely arrives in June 2024
this only works for channels that have a streaming service; so no live stream of "great movies" etc

Just to be clear, the live channels are not free. You still need a TV licence
