@@TabletopTitans TBH I'm so tired of seeing Gladius that almost any other detachment is welcome. Anvil Siege Force is preferred for Imperial Fists of course.
I play my Fists mostly around the firestorm detachment, in various flavour, and like it a lot. All Astartes are flexible and capable to adapt their warfare to the situation. 😉
Also on the Salamander Detachment question wether firestorm or Gladius that happens at around 53 minutes Consider infernus marines plus a captain with vulkan already being in the list, the captain lets u dev wound strat for 1 cp they have a higher volume of fire and vulkan gives them rerolls to wound so u dont really need the pricey flame storm agressors, which makes room for Judi plus bladeguard with champ of humanity Redeemer (s7 flamer with detachment rule is spicy) and Repulsor Stock goes way up in Firestorm too yeet the Redeemer mid board with a loaded with Eradicators and then its like okay i either dont shoot it and get overwatched. or I shoot it and get melta'd in the face. and the infernus marines are safe in a repulsor from charges because they can hop back in with its special rule plus s6 flamer.
Much appreciated for the thoughts! I was the one who posted the question and have been running infernus in a drop pod, but I may have to give this a shot 😁 Might have to try throwing them in a rhino instead too Edit: Just remembered tacticus can't go in rhinos. I love that rule /sarcasm
Why do we think the Mandrakes cannot "deep strike"? while they do not have the "deep strike" keyword their special rule clearly states they can be set up anywhere on the battlefield 9" away from enemies. Is there a new rules commentary or something I'm not aware of?
I was hoping since people still have bad blood towards Elves since the first year of 10th maybe Brian would play a wonky list and we'd get to see Anvil Siege force. Anyhow, any time Garadon is on its a good time!
I'm incredibly disappointed this is not Anvil Siege Force.
Next time maybe

Great suggestions!

Where did he get those models for scorpions and spiders!?

The chin!
a strength 12 powerfist is basically still x3, isn't it? average space marine strength is a 4, and math happens from there.
Don't know if this gets addressed - but you cannot take 6 gladiators with Templars any more. Or Psykers! They finally fixed that loophole!
Great game!
Thank you!
insanely close
Right?!
