An important bit of tech to pay attention to when maneuvering big mobs of boyz on the charge: 1. You determine model by model which orks have to get into base-to-base contact. So if you don't want to base everyone, you can create gaps just large enough not to fit another ork. 2. Each model must end closer to the closest model in the target of the charge than it started. So you can't swing your boyz over to a point 8 inches away if the enemy is only 5 away, but you can swing them to a spot 4.9 inches away on the other side of your target if you have enough movement. And, of course: 3. If you end your charge closer to another enemy than the one you were charging and can pile in without breaking coherency, you can pile into enemies you didn't charge.
1:15- side argument for auric champions- make the characters always count as 'leading a unit' then the detachment can actually just run 9-12 shield captains and Trajann and actually get all their benefits. And maybe give them sticky?
As a Ork player super excited to not have the armies I did in 9th, feel bad for custodies players, their rules just don’t feel very hmmm them. Still having worlds of fun.
Awesome armies. Do the mega mobs have to take a desperate break out when they fell back from the sword bros? I think that is the second part of the strat.
Ok, someone please help me here. I can't find anywhere that says in the rules (or on the datasheets within the Warhammer app) that a unit can have 2 leaders but I see every green tide list playing a warboss and a painboy. What am I missing?
For sure! It's under the Boyz unit themselves, and if you're looking at the app I believe its under the 'leader' tab so it wont show up right away under abilities
Hey @tabletoptitans, any chance of future battle reports having a 1440p option, was a big fan of the 4k quality, so a middle ground be really nice to have.
@tabletoptitans - what has happened to the stream quality? Last few videos have been pretty much unwatchable (im hoping its just a me thing and not a full channel / UK thing)
We'll all have to bow to our ork overlords for the next few months. It's impossoble for most armies to have the tools to kill this and also answer the nobs in the other detachment. At least it should be more fun than playing vs 3 c'thans.
Just bring a lot of anti-horde tech. My Death Guard rejoices over 120 boyz and I have only two heavy plague spewers across all four of my plague marines squads. Just a lot of bolters with lethal hits. My pal is exstatic about 120 boyz. Our clash will be legrndary, I can not wait to mulch his boyz. Will I lose? Mist likely. Will it be epic? Heck yes!
It just means people will have to tech into more horde clearing weapons. The current meta has been oversaturated with vehicles elites and monsters, so people simply haven't been bringing the tools to deal with this. What this will do is force more take all comers lists in tournament. Maybe even force Necrons to skip a C'tan to being more anti infantry tools
@@Gwlyddynnow you cry but when you auto won the fight phase , custodians were chipper with glee and didn't care about anyone else . How cute. Put that half faction army back on the shelf meta hopper
I would like to see Bryan put a Lt or a castellan in with Helbrecht. The lethal and ability to stack sustained really help them punch up into units that are tough. I know you guys don’t try to play super meta lists but I feel like Bryan’s sword bros bounce. And the unit is so well known for the damage output. Also one day when there is time for a 5 hour game all crusader squads vs all boys 😂. Nothing but infantry and characters. Classic match up today and enjoyed watching Adrain surprise even himself with save and FNP rolls.
If only the crusader would've held back a bit to get at least a single turn of shooting, that could've made such a difference. ALso, 'f' for the poor assassin... :(
Should have gone full Black Tide and countered with 120 crusaders

Point 3 also means you can avoid fights first 😊

Next we need Green Tide vs Endless Swarm nids. Break all the backs!
DO NOT GIVE GW THIS IDEA they only wont to sell you mini's
Super excited for the new Orks, looks hella fun.
Painboy ability work in command phase.
Love the ork showing. Great game guys
the rightous vow applies to all of your space marine units, including vehicles lads
'ERE WE GO 'ERE WE GO!
It takes a horde to beat a horde.
120 Kroot vs 120 Orks?
60 Heavy Intercessors?
Love that music for the orks detatchment!
Fun Ork conversions!
Thank you so much!
Meganobs now get 3 attacks base on the twin killsaws?
That buttons a cool idea haha

120 boyz. Id immediately forfeit.
Thanks!
Lucky that land raider didn't get surrounded
1:29:50 “very interesting opinion” lmao
Seems like some Kommandoz spreading the good word.

Good job getting the last laugh with the callidus…

Greentide feels like orkodes.

I'm subscribing on the 1st. I don't get paid until then. Lol 😊😅😂

Oppressive armies is never fun to play against. 120 boys is just stupid.
My Custodes will be put on the shelf a while..

As someone who plays against crons weekly I think at this point FNP is ruining the game

Agree I think a castellan is an auto include in that unit.
I cant wait to bring 2 Knight Wardens against this type of list . There is gonna be orc corpses for days
i just love me and roommate watching game being like do you even do against that many orks.
Oh my gosh the game just started and the Assassin assassination was so intense. Smart to vekt a CP re-roll!
Also sweeping engagement NML isn't 24" wide, because of the diagonal

16:29 Callidus assassin doesn’t have stealth - would have been dead from shooting and hence no vect on CP re-roll
