She told her daughter not to be dumb because she cares for her but was unable to show it properly because she'd became cold for too long as a defense mechanism. Fire goddess was angry at her mom for making her feel unloved. She's angry at the world for being as messed up as it is, but she refused to let all this anger control her the way her mom let it control herself (see how she holds her fire back) and it made her stop using her powers for a long time. Last daughter not growing up exposed to magic anymore took quite a long time to discovers it and was happy her mom encouraged her personal growth and discovery. Fire goddess was supportive in a way her own mom wasn't.
Out of all the goddesses, I can't help but think that the the goddess of beauty was really trying to be nice to hear daughter, but I think that the goddess of evil misunderstood her...... (Thankyou soo much for all these likes😳)

Trauma and pressure to do something they no longer (if they ever did) have the spirit for. Some people have bad experiences with dogs, water, alcohol or people (in this case parents) and decide that they want nothing to do with those ever again (becoming a parent or becoming like their parents). It's still a respectable choice.
