Adam’s punch was strong enough to shatter Alastor’s force field so you know Charlie is powerful if she can block it with one hand. Also, Charlie has barely tapped in to whatever true power she has inside her. I can’t wait to see more of her potential in Season 2.

@@addisonstanford717in the actual biblical stories Lucifer hated humanity because God loved them more than he loved Lucifer. So Lucifer decided he would only tolerate humans if they worshipped him. @@WillieManga I think that the abrupt obliteration was actually because he made the angelic death ray misfire by targeting it. @dano7584 are you ignoring the fact that he literally showed more power than that later when fighting lucifer and literally not just destroying the hotel in on blast but gouging out a section of the ground?
I love the detail of Lucifer not knowing how to properly swear while Adam does it all the time. The way Lucifer acts, hes way more deserving to be an angel while Adam clearly deserves to be in Satan's position.
The fact that Adam is even an angel in the first place, never quite made sense to me. He makes the first cardinal sin, from which all others spawn, then gets kicked out of Eden, but manages to go to heaven. That seem right?? I don't think so.
I think he only appeared when Charlie was about to be killed. Because he made a deal that would spare his daughter. That deal being broken by Adam allowed him to intervene.
It's also after sir pentous died. So it could be that he sensed him ascending and so her plan worked and now he "knows it" which is what he sings in the finale song.

Same with Charlie, I feel like she was trying but not really (idk how to explaining sorry) all the time, but when Adam tried to hurt her dad she literally just stopped him with one arm like- all they need is to be angry to defeat anyone
I mean, Husk might be the most powerful of that group given his deal with Alastor was to keep his power. So he's probably the best able to actually soak hits for them. I do love that the sinner who is, as he says, "not there for the redemption" seems to be being redeemed in his own way anyway
0:59 I love when Chalie snaps and goes full Demon Princess. It shows she is not just a pushover smiley face, admittedly she didn't have a chance against Adam but really only Lucifer did.
True, Adam was still more powerful, but I love the fact that she was the first one to actually harm Adam. Alastor was able to slow Adam down significantly, yes. But he didn't leave a scratch on Adam
Lucifer only showed up after Lute killed a hellborn, Dazzle, and Adam was hurting Charlie, another hellborn. I guess it has to do with Luci's deal with heaven, that Lute mentioned in ep 1, which allows extermination to happen but they're not allowed to kill hellborns
I love at 3:57 Husk immediately looks at Angel Dust because he KNOWS he is going react to that line and he does with his eyebrow raise haha. They are the only two that actually move

Not even close. Overlords like The Radio Demon aren't even on the same rank as someone like Stolas, who can stand in a supernova. Lucifer is one of my favorite character types. Goofy and seemingly uncaring but the moment he gets serious/angry he is shown to be RIDICULOUSLY overpowered.

My husband has pointed out that Adam hurting Charlie, a hellborne, broke the contract Lucifer had with Heaven. Meaning Lucifer could step in and fight back. Fighting Charlie was a serious misstep on Adam's part as that contract didn't just allow him to kill sinners willy nilly it prevented Lucifer from stopping him...as long as he didn't hurt any hellborne, a clause Lucifer put in to protect Charlie. Hubby's theory is that this was Lucifer's plan from the very beginning when he sends Charlie to meet Adam knowing she'd hate him and get involved and break the contract binding him allowing him to finally fight back.
No way Lucifer puts Charlie in danger like this. Lucifer's plan is more like "How about you don't screw the one good thing I have left in hell and I don't have to get serious and send every single angel you send my way with a new trauma back to heaven?" I think it's much more probable that the clause was there because Lucifer only really cared about protecting Charlie. If she's safe then he can lay back and ignore the genocide. It happens in only one circle of hell, there are 6 others, who cares about the sinners, they are a dime a dozen. But Charlie cares about them, and she gets involved. Forcing Lucifer to at least get involved by proxy. He can't force Charlie to not act on her desire to save the sinners, he's the fallen archangel of free will, no way he denies that very gift to his own daughter (even though he wants to. He wants to protect his daughter from the heartache inducing drama that is Heaven, but Charlie wouldn't have it). And so, he has no other option but to support Charlie, and be the safety net, to be there if and when she made too powerful an enemy in Heaven. Did Lucifer have an eye out, ready to jump Adam the moment he screwed up? definetely. Did he manipulate his own daughter, put her in harms way, all for a plan he could have enacted from the very beggining? Since what makes him go full devil trigger is Adam trying to suckerpunch her, I'd say no way. If Lucifer had his way, Charlie would have never been anywhere near an exorcist.
@@SelvenXXUP Yeah his *entire* thing was like "for the love of hell just please don't let them hurt you. Let me protect you." But that theory would explain why he actually attacked him after that moment. Like I was interpreting that "oh wait wtf?" as a "oh she hit harder than I expected" kinda like when Alastair was like "what just happened?" when Adam broke his mic. it was very much the same energy at the moment. But it being the result of her permanent pardon preventing him from actually harming her.
Interesting theory. My only problem with it, is that this version of Lucifer is a bit... wacky? To be able to plan like that. Still though, good theory at least.
The way Adam at 2:26 says “ok” is perfect. Like he was kinda going easy on her, but then when he says that it’s like “oh, you wanna fight? I’ll give you a challenge. It’s on now.” All that was conveyed with just one word, a chuckle, the tilt of his head, and flying toward her. It was badass. Lucifer telling Adam he was the only one that mattered, that was EPIC. The two of them battling was amazingly done. Taunting Adam was so satisfying & funny. And “hold still, you slippery f*cker” was hysterical
I also like how they did that. He's acting goofy the entire time while fighting, but here it shows his confidence and how battle tested/hardened he actually is where one simple wound isn't enough to send him reeling.
I find it interesting that Charlie is the third strongest being in all of Hell after her parents, and yet she would've easily die against Adam because of lack of real combat experience. Really shows the fact that even if you're in rage and more powerful than your enemy, it doesn't guarantee your victory. Also it kinda parallels between her fight and Alastor's, the latter one having the edge over the more powerful Adam and using his weak spots until he got really serious. Really good detail, adds more cool realism to the already amazing show.
I would say she is currently on Overlord Level in strength until she grows up more. Kind of unfair to say She is the 3rd strongest when the other 6 Princes/Princesses of hell are around Lucifer's strength.
@@alonzobanks7046 nah, it's a confirmed statement from the series creator that the powerlevels in hell are Lucifer > Lilith and Charlie > everyone else. So yeah, Charlie is the third strongest being of Hell (assuming her Mum actually knows how to fight, which seems likely) Charlie just doesn't want to use her powers (she says so herself during the show, because she considers it mean) and therefore doesn't know how to fight, so somebody experienced and willing to fight and harm others like Addam can get the edge on her. As for the Overlord comparrison, Alastor is the strongest Overlord (again, confirmed via direct statement of the series creator) and when you compare Alastor fighting Addam and Charlie fighting Addam it is clear that even with her lack of experience and reluctance to use her powers, Charlie outsclales Alastor even now.
3:32 I love how Husk is actively trying to shield the others with his wings. I didn't really care for him that much in the pilot but he's really grown on me
Some interpretations of the story of Genesis imply that Lucifer seduced Eve after giving her the Fruit of Knowledge. Even the show “Lucifer” capitalized on this by calling Eve his first love.

The fact that as soon as Adam got serious he beat Alastor with one hit but as soon as Lucifer got serious he beat Adam with one hit shows the power difference between Lucifer and Alastor
Alastor is an overlord, which still belong to the lower half of the hierarchy of hell, and not even the strongest one. Also another thing to take from this fight is the difference between having powers and knowing how to use it. Technically speaking, Charlie does have what it takes to stand up to Adam, but is quite inexperience with her full power as Vaggie pointed out.
@@florians9949 Plus, I'd reckon if Alastor didn't get cocky and dodged the holy blast instead of trying to tank it, he could have lasted much longer. It was obvious he was in control most of the fight. Even if he didn't have any angelic weapons on him to deal Adam actual damage
@@Memelord1117 Yes, there's an official chart. It goes Lucifer, then Charlie and Lilith, 7 deadly sins, ars goetia (stolas' race), overlodrs, sinners, hellborn, imps/hellhounds

Though he did give Adam a run for his money briefly... but that was because he wasn't taking Alastor seriously as a threat. Which I guess is why he completely erased Sir Pentious and his blimp because he wasn't going to make the same mistake twice of not taking a Sinner seriously.
I feel like it should be worth mentioning that when Charlie effortlessly caught Adam’s punch she was much stronger than she was in her previous fight with him, implying she was still holding back her full might until her father was in harm’s way
I feel like its a classic case of "her true power is still hidden and she can't use it at will, but we see glimpses of her full potential here and there". So basically she can't use this strength whenever she wants, but its within her... cause uh, she's the daughter of the boss of course.

It also shows Adam's power that he can instantly destroy a blimp. The abrupt obliteration was shocking too. And yeah kinda funny in a tragic way.
@@WillieManga I think that the abrupt obliteration was actually because he made the angelic death ray misfire by targeting it. What's wrong with douch bag?
Douchebag aint a swear.
They also missed a “shit” from angel dust. It’s subtle, but there!
douchebag isn't a bad word compared to others
Lucifer's plan is more like "How about you don't screw the one good thing I have left in hell and I don't have to get serious and send every single angel you send my way with a new trauma back to heaven?"
I think it's much more probable that the clause was there because Lucifer only really cared about protecting Charlie.
Let me protect you."
But that theory would explain why he actually attacked him after that moment. Like I was interpreting that "oh wait wtf?" as a "oh she hit harder than I expected" kinda like when Alastair was like "what just happened?" when Adam broke his mic. it was very much the same energy at the moment. But it being the result of her permanent pardon preventing him from actually harming her.
It wasn't Charlie it was razzle dying
@@Jester626 big sadge

That is alot of words to describe one word
@@solidturtle6910I didn’t say it had deep lore, I just said I liked how he said it…
I also like how they did that. He's acting goofy the entire time while fighting, but here it shows his confidence and how battle tested/hardened he actually is where one simple wound isn't enough to send him reeling.
The "OK" is Adam's series line. Easily

And way more powerful.
@@sakumon16 well, he IS meant to be only second to God in power, depending which flavor of Abrahamic religion you subscribe to.
@@alonzobanks7046I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up surpassing her father power-wise.
She's effectively a nephilim after all
@@alonzobanks7046 nah, it's a confirmed statement from the series creator that the powerlevels in hell are Lucifer > Lilith and Charlie > everyone else. So yeah, Charlie is the third strongest being of Hell (assuming her Mum actually knows how to fight, which seems likely)
Charlie just doesn't want to use her powers (she says so herself during the show, because she considers it mean) and therefore doesn't know how to fight, so somebody experienced and willing to fight and harm others like Addam can get the edge on her.
That mean she isn't even third strongest

Since when did Lucifer have an affair with Eve? lmao
I honestly think he was just messing with him, since Lucifer gave Eve the forbidden fruit lol.
Some interpretations of the story of Genesis imply that Lucifer seduced Eve after giving her the Fruit of Knowledge. Even the show “Lucifer” capitalized on this by calling Eve his first love.

Charlie is weak, she was about to die 3 times lol
that's what i'm saying@Emy-452if charlie is supposed to be one of the most powerful beings in hell well then how come she lost to adam then hu charlie is a disgrace to the name of being the third most powerful being in hell because charlie barely stood a chance against fighting adam she almost died some powerful being of hell she is she sucks at fighting charlie is not one of the most powerful beings in hell she is a weak, pathetic, unskilled, untrained, uncoordinated and inexperienced loser that's why i think charlie and her friends are all going to die next season when lute returns because lute is an unstoppable powerful heartless highly trained skilled fighting monster that will be even more powerful when she returns because she is now fueled by the loss of adam and her desire for revenge charlie, vaggie and their friends won't stand a chance against lute when she returns next season she will be too powerful and highly skilled to take down if they even try to fight her they'll die in a second so unless they work out and take combat training in season 2 their all going to die next season

Adam: *attacks Charlie*
Lucifer: *"Bonjour"*
The fact that as soon as Adam got serious he beat Alastor with one hit but as soon as Lucifer got serious he beat Adam with one hit shows the power difference between Lucifer and Alastor
Alastor is an overlord, which still belong to the lower half of the hierarchy of hell, and not even the strongest one. Also another thing to take from this fight is the difference between having powers and knowing how to use it. Technically speaking, Charlie does have what it takes to stand up to Adam, but is quite inexperience with her full power as Vaggie pointed out.
@@florians9949 So, would Stolas & the 7 deadly sins be in the upper half?
@@florians9949 Plus, I'd reckon if Alastor didn't get cocky and dodged the holy blast instead of trying to tank it, he could have lasted much longer. It was obvious he was in control most of the fight. Even if he didn't have any angelic weapons on him to deal Adam actual damage
@@Memelord1117 Yes, there's an official chart. It goes Lucifer, then Charlie and Lilith, 7 deadly sins, ars goetia (stolas' race), overlodrs, sinners, hellborn, imps/hellhounds
Well yeah.....hes the king of hell for a reason
This whole fight truly showed the power differences in this show. Alastor is a big dawg among Overlords and is probably the strongest yet he got no diffed by Adam with just one slash. But then several minutes later, Lucifer absolutely rag dolls Adam like a toy. Truly good episode.
Though he did give Adam a run for his money briefly... but that was because he wasn't taking Alastor seriously as a threat. Which I guess is why he completely erased Sir Pentious and his blimp because he wasn't going to make the same mistake twice of not taking a Sinner seriously.
Yep, Alastor really looks like a Big shot, but seing him lose to Adam so easily helps to clearly show the power hierarchy in the show!
its like justice league how everyones good matches but nowhere near the power level to defeat Stephenwolf until superman shows up
I feel like Alastor is below Zestial. Just by the way he acted around him.
I'd say Adam is at the level of 7 sins, or at least goetia
I feel like it should be worth mentioning that when Charlie effortlessly caught Adam’s punch she was much stronger than she was in her previous fight with him, implying she was still holding back her full might until her father was in harm’s way
Seems like she heard Carmilla.
I feel like its a classic case of "her true power is still hidden and she can't use it at will, but we see glimpses of her full potential here and there". So basically she can't use this strength whenever she wants, but its within her... cause uh, she's the daughter of the boss of course.
@@Jim-wb7hl
That’s what I was thinking, out for love.
Because she was literally using lucifers power?? He even said 'anything in my power is also yours' or something like that
@@hobopizzaguy7400yeah definitely - she's spent her whole life being a pacifist (we suppose at least), that she doesn't know how to really delve into that untapped power. All she knows is how to tap into that feral rage when her loved ones are in danger. Plus, I'm sure having her dad to back her up gave her the confidence boost she needed to really tap into that power in a way she couldn't find on her own.
