Yes Adventure Time is one of the greatest stories I ever experienced, and to have all of the genius writing, foreshadowing, and probable retcons watered down in such a manner is a shame.
Seeing the evolution of the shows themes and characters in real time is one of the best things ever. Partly because it’s one of the few shows I watched with my sister

32:50 the story behind the editing scene is actually pretty crazy. In one of the original farmworld episodes, there was an animation error where the crown was still on simon’s head after Finn had already taken it. Now in this episode Prismo edits the timeline and retcons an animation error and makes it canon.

One of the best moments in videos of reacting to the various incarnations of this timeline video, every single person I've seen has basically the same reaction of immediately pausing with a big "what" at the line "Abraham Lincoln, the King of Mars"
So fun fact about Abraham Lincoln: in the original draft of the episode "Sons of Mars", when Lincoln gave up his immortality to restore Jake's life, the scene would have shown Lincoln being transported back to the moment of his death at Ford's Theater, with the scene cutting to black as the sound of a gunshot rang out. The gunshot sound is still present in the episode, but Cartoon Network understandably demanded they cut the shot of the theater itself.

27:32 The reason why the lich became a thing in the farm world dimension is because he is the direct result of the mushroom bomb, so wishing that the lich never existed meant the bomb never went off so if the bomb were to go off the lich would exist again. For clarity I am not typing this comment out of anger I just want to make sure anyone who reads this and doesn't understand how that worked now understands it better

Prismo explains that his wishes have unknown side effects if you’re not specific. As an example he states a wish to get a back rub and points out that you don’t know who gives you the backrub, how they give it to you, etc.
So, when Finn wishes the Lich never existed, his wish only made his world’s Lich never exist. However, the antics of the Farm-world version of Finn result in a different Lich being born
At least this is my theory

Presumably, once Bubblegum knuckled down on creating Candy People, the Dum Dum formula was used as a fundamental part of the recipe rather then applied after making her citizens.
They can't miss what they never had.

The lich is the main antagonist but barely appears in the show i know from experience because i watch the show i need to watch some episodes i never have watched
So interesting thing, they eventually made 4 more final episodes of the Adventure Time where we actually see Finn and Jake on one final Adventure that ends with Finn rejecting another opportunity of immortality so he can die peacefully together with Jake, marking the end of their adventures

After being struck down by Grob Gob Glob Grod, he was sent to another planet where most inhabitants are slaves. Martin escapes, using the other slaves as tools. He steals the king’s moth and flies into space
The easiest way to explain why it took so long for ice king to become ice king is that he started out not accepting the crowns maximum power but gunther did
32:50 Fun fact: Prismo doing this actually retcons an animation error from the first episode with Farmworld Finn. There is a scene in that episode where Simon's corpse is shown wearing the crown when he shouldn't be (as Farmworld Finn is currently going crazy with it on), and Prismo literally editing it into there (so it's destroyed by the nuke) gives us an in-universe explanation.
Best use of a retcon I've seen in a cartoon (so far).

*Finn looks over at Jake*
*Jake smiles and gives a thumbs up*

As Finn kneels down to pick up Jake and hug him Finn says: “thanks bro”
*Jake starts to glow and shape into a star as he floats up*
“You’ll be ready for the 50th before you know it, go back there and live that best life”
*Finn looks up as he smiles at Jake then walks away to the portal and steps through it*
*As Finn walks through the portal Jake starts to hold back tears and turns back into his normal dog form*
*Jake falls next to Mr. Death*
*Jake with tears in his eyes runs after Finn*
Mr. Death says: “No wait, ah I’m not your mom”
*Finn now flying through the portal to be incarcerated with a smile on his face*
“I wonder what life’s going to turn me into this time?”
*Finn feels a hand grab his wrist, he looks over*
“Jake?! What are you doing, I just had my adonkin epiphany.”
“I know, I’m just coming back for fun, because it’s great being alive with you”

So regarding Golb, I saw a theory that says he's a baby. Like his physical appearance is big. But when it comes down to it, he's an infant. Plus his age matches that of multiverse. So the Multiverse of Adventure Time is in its infancy.
He might not even be sentient at all. He might just exist as a force of nature.
He just a big baby that devours universes, kinda funny

It's a timeline not a complete guide through the series, lemongrab, as interesting of a character that he is, is not relevant to the plot whatsoever

Adventure time is a kids show that is funny, weird, and dark at times. One moment you're having an intense card match with your dog, another moment you have a Pillow as your wife and have pillow children, or you could just suddenly hear post apocalyptic stuff

You know what? I'm gonna say this in the comments of every video necessary. Although the timeline video made a mistake and said so, the Lich is not a primordial entity or even all that special. He is a humanoid with ram horns, likely due to mutation from the mushroom bomb, and is the incarnation of a catalyst comet just like Finn, with his immortality and skeletal form being due to some kind of magic keeping him alive-ish. We might get a full story on him someday, but the long and short of it is that he's just as much of a person as Finn, and he only knows about the primordial entities like Golb is because he did his research.
He's a physical deformed scientist-sorcerer with mental health issues.

For anyone confused about The Lich being able to exist even after Finn wishes he never existed, The Lich can't be erased. No matter what, He will show up in that timeline / universe no matter what.
I think it mainly ppays into the ironic twist; That he didnt exist until a 1,000 years after the war.
Original Timeline -> The Lich is born at tbe apex of the Mushroom War.
Farmworld -> The Lich is born during Finn's lifetime.
The creature/comet is not The Lich, just his past life/existence before becoming *The* *Lich*

The Adventure Time fandom really does have a thing for painting Princess Bubblegum worse than she actually is, and it's pretty tiring and ridiculous.
Can she be controlling? Yes. Can she be manipulative? Yes. However this does not make her an irredeemable monster. Her actions are largely in an effort to try and keep things orderly and safe because she feels it is her job to do so. She got caught in this trap, and it led to how it is. If anything, she's simply flawed, like every other character in this series. She is not the absolute monster everybody decides she is because the fandom has absolutely no understanding or awareness of things beyond black and white.
It's absolutely the same for the Steven Universe fandom regarding Rose Quartz and their obsession over viewing her as the worst while ignoring key things.
I coincidentally just binged all of Adventure Time yesterday (how do you know, TH-cam?!) - and while I wasn't exactly a fan of most of the episodes, the "random/silly" humor just fell a bit flat to me, season 4 episode 25 completely blindsided me as a tearjerker. Every episode that involves Marceline is well worth watching in my opinion.

Her "family" were the only ones who were under control of the dumdum juice, and Gumbald brought it upon himself both times.
Arguably, she could've made the candy people more capable of defending themselves, but she was trying to protect them by being controlling, not being authoritarian for power's sake.
Obviously, she has done A LOT of wrong, like with the Rattleballs, spying on everyone, ruining the Fire Guardians, etc. But I think that's what makes her an interesting character. The show doesn't shy away from letting her be in the wrong, either.
Many antagonists/bad people in AT tend to bring their downfall upon themselves (i.e. Gumbald, Evergreen, St. Patience Pim) because they don't change their views/ways. PB changing is what makes her different.

The evil energy was there ever since the Green Catalyst Comet struck, but it didn't become the Lich until the Mushroom Bomb went off.
When Finn wished for the Lich to have never existed, it stopped the bomb from creating the Lich in the past. But the Green Comet's energy is still there, waiting for the bomb to detonate again (which Farmworld Finn ends up causing).
As Prismo stated, his wishes "always have an ironic twist to them", and you have to be really specific. Finn may have wished for the Lich to have "never, even ever existed", but that doesn't prevent the Lich from existing in the _future._

Actually, that stuff didn’t happen in the beginning when is venture time started off with Finn, the human and Jake, the dog and they were going on it adventure I think to get the Kyrin again that book he is just giving you a full on brief actually to be honest this is not even a start to. He hasn’t even started. The actual show itself yet. This is just the stuff that they tell youway into the shower but this is actually the past that they learn the main character learns from watching a video so he’s telling you briefing you on the past and then he’s going to get into the video

OK, let me break it down. The Lich already existed,the mushroom bomb just gave him a physical body. When the mushroom bomb was, frozen that means the Lich never gained a corporeal form however when ice Finn caused the bomb to crack and detonate, the Lich , was able to gain a corporeal form in farm world Jake. I hope I explained it for you tell me if I made it make less sense
