    Greetings from the Pine Barrens of New Jersey USA Tim. I Like your video of the park. Where I live in the southern part of the Pine Barrens National Reserve of New Jersey we have about one million acres of protected land. Their are hundreds of miles of off and paved roads. This is the home of the legend of The Jersey Devil. Spooky at times. Thanks again for your channel.

      Hi Alexander that sounds like a great place and huge, the park I was in is big too but not a million acres. Thanks for watching I appreciate it very much, stay safe 👍

      @@timfinning Hell yeah. I was literally just telling a buddy last week that I hate going places on the weekends because “that’s when all the ants are out” 😂

    Great video Tim. I moved to Perth 4 months ago, and visited whiteman Park 2 times since then. It's a great entertaining area

    Do you find it’s quite shaky going city speeds around 20-40 mph? I feel like I can’t keep a steady throttle around 1900-2200 rpms with the cam. What do you think?

    Hi, what tuner do you use here? Mine with SE Pro Street Tuner and 475c cam is rather terrible! At certain range of rpm, it hesitated to go for split second. But once it over the range, it shoot powerfully.
    Quite a choppy map and you will get shock with that sudden power. Not good when exiting corners with that power delivery

      We use a tune base called Maximus in Australia. It's not a tuner as such but a map download for the bike and stored on a thumb drive. My bike has been Dyno tuned using the base map.

    Did u do anything other work other then tune and cam swap ?

    • @timfinning
      @timfinning  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kerry the only other things I did was the push rods and litter guide's as they are plastic out of the factory but everything else is stock.

      @@timfinning thanks for the reply! How do you like the 475 cams ?

    • @timfinning
      @timfinning  ปีที่แล้ว

      In my opinion probably the best cam for the M8. Huge gains for relatively little money. The only thing to take into consideration is fuel economy it reduces a fair amount but it's good fun.

    Help me; I'm told by experts, and I see by all graphs that the S&S 475 sounds the best (and I concur), but that you actually LOSE power & torque compared to stock until you rev up past 5,000 rpm. That's a place my bike never sees! What do you say?

    • @timfinning
      @timfinning  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Tyrone, not so my friend - let me explain, the HP and torque curve actually start higher straight off the bat. At around 3300rpm the power then skyrockets and maxes out at around 5500rpm and carries to about 6000rpm. Believe me when I say that the bike has more power everywhere and heaps of it too. Also a lot will depend on the exhaust you choose, a 2 into 1 will provide more power than a 2 into 2. In my opinion the 475 cam is the best cam with the best results every time. I hope this puts your mind at ease a bit. 👍

      @@timfinning Thanks for the reply. You having one and riding is the best testimony. However, does the graph not show the performance BELOW stock level at start? Did I misinterpret the graph? Another dyno guy told me that you lose power from stock until you continue into higher higher rpm where it then surpasses stock performance.

      @@tyroneshoelace4872 My experience is different to what you are being told as mine is starting at around 110nm when it was about 80nm stock and I can tell you that it's very noticeable, trust me if you have it tuned properly there is more power everywhere,you will not be disappointed. The other option is the 465 cam, this is a torque cam that comes on sooner than the 475.

      It's huge, around the other side there would have been a couple thousand people doing touristy stuff
