Congrats on the new bike.. That street bob is sweet.. tons of power in a "smaller" bike.. by that, I mean not a big bagger, no fairing etc.. Vlog setup sounds decent. good job. safe travels !
Nice bike and scenery. I like the Street Bob too but I chose the Heritage because it had the wind screen and bags. Much more comfortable for highway cruising. But those things are easily added to your bike and the Memphis Shades fairing and windshield you added look great. Congratulations on the Harley and ride safe!
Awesome video man, i have the same bike, ive had it only 3 months brand new and it already has 4K miles on it. One thing i wanted to say about the issue you had scraping the footpegs is that you might want to try leaning your body more than the bike, ive done some serious twisty canyon roads in Cali and have never scraped because i lean similar to a sport bike rider. You may also want to adjust the rear mono shock, ive had no clearance issues even riding 2 up with my lady on some backroads.
Daaamn! That's a lot of riding in 3 months. I haven't been able to ride in 3 weeks since there is a long wait for my service. I'll have to try leaning with my body and see how that works. Maybe it's from my habits of dirt biking. I haven't even touched my rear shock so maybe I should look into that. Thank you!
Hi man. I have a white 21’ street bob 114. It’s my first Harley too. It’s a great bike. Im in San Diego California. If your ever around here let me know and we can cruise. I’ll post a video of my bike this week too. I have a go pro 9 with a mount on my helmet, bars, and one on my velomacchi backpack. I need to get a second camera. Or try and mount my DJI osmo pocket 2. Ride safe and have fun man.
Those white ones are dope! I still haven't seen one in person yet but I hope to soon. I want to take a road trip down south so ill let people know in a future video if that plan comes to light. It would be sick to get a street bob meet-up going. Ill check out your video too! After shooting multiple angles, I need to get a second camera as well.
@@ivansaligo2783 hell yeah man. I put a saddlemen seat with the tuck and roll stitch and put on the Memphis shades road warrior faring. Bike is starting to look verrry nice. I’ll send a pic in a DM. I have some audio and video equipment too maybe we can shoot a vid.
What do you think of the Street Bob as a first bike for a new rider? One thing I don't really like is the tank capacity not being as much as I would like but I don't think the other Harley's would work out for me starting out. I'm looking at taking the MSF course soon and trying to decide om a bike once I have the license emdorsement.
Personally, I would go for something a little smaller for a first bike. If you have any riding experience like dirt biking, then I'd say go for it, but if you're completely new, I'd get something smaller. The biggest downside to this bike is there are no anti-lock front brakes, which could get dicey if you're not used to it. The tank size has never been a big issue for me. If youre planning on doing long rides then you might want something more comfortable with a bigger tank. However, I've heard stories of people getting smaller bikes and outgrowing them quickly, which would suck after spending all that money. At the end of the day, you only live once, so get what you want and have fun!
@@tjoker_motovlog I'm 6'3" 215, so I haven't really looked at anything smaller than a T100. I think the T120 may have ABS. The T100 is 900 cc and the 120 is 1200.
Fairing needed for freeway.. and if you are a new rider.. best to stick to the roads like the ones your on…. Minus the tar filled cracked roads.. they are slippery when hot… .. just do freeway runs when you know you can get off on the next ramp.. baby steps,, and get a fairing… Memphis shades seems like the best one
Lmao... nevermind on the fairing just seen your other videos!! It's a nice fairing isn't it? My next fairing will be fxrt but I have the plex audio system on my fxlrs so I might just get another bike (dyna) and put it on that.
I have a 2020 fxlrs with a Memphis Shades Road Warrior and it blocks alot of that wind! You get tired pretty fast without a fairing on! I got an exhaust coming soon that sound on the stock 114.... ugh 👎👎👎
Yeah I did not like it without a fairing. Especially after 60mph it was rough. I am getting sick of the stock sound though. I need something I can actually hear.
@@tjoker_motovlog I just got my exhaust about a month ago!! It's from a company called Stealth I fucking love it, it sounds so good and it's built in the U.S.A by a dude named Steve in Cali! So worth it!
Got a new sub and a like here. Diggin the bike just got same model delivered on Saturday myself. Love it so far. Have just done a little walk around video of a couple quick changes i've done to it. Check it out if you find time, Cheers.
What fantastic riding! That scenery is incredible!
Thank you! It's beautiful riding up here!

Thank you! I've been loving it so far. The power is great, but I do wish I had some bags for it. Maybe one day ill get some.
pretty sure you could get some quick release windshield on that bike. .for those longer hwy travels... if you like.
Nice bike brotha !
Thank you!

Congratulations on your new bike 🙏🏼

The Bob is a great bike. I’ve got a few miles on 2020 with the 107
Yeah, I’m loving it so far!
That’s e street Bob I bought…. Such a fun bike..
You need stage 1 on that bad boy ASAP sounds like a moped
Lol. That's funny. I just bought the 2022 version of that bike and I plan on taking it to the same area. I live about 20 miles from auburn
Hell yeah! Hope you're enjoying and maybe ill see you out there this summer!

Just learn to do counter steering have a look at the race kingvof baggers that's how you do it.
I got that bike too…. If you are scraping the foot peg, you are doing it right… gotta go faster though.. just a little
Yup…. Just cruise at 50-55. Your good..

The street Bob deserves a real exhaust… tab performance with zombies…. Or Vance and Hines grenades .. something actually ridiculously loud

I hate those tar filled roads. I'm not a new rider but ive got a fairing now and it was a game changer.
🔥
Would u recommend a 6'0 200lbs beginner get this bike after first bike? Or u think softtail standard is better?
This bike looks sick.
i think it would be ok for you! you may prefer to install forward controls tho! the mids are a bit tight for a taller person.
Nice man im in sacramento area we ride around hwy 49 a lot. If you would like on group rides let me know prolly can set something up
Thanks man. I’d be down to join a group ride!

How bad is the heat coming off the engine when at a stop?

Drop your psi to 33/35,,I run 31/34 cold on a 20 fxlrs ,
