Thank you so much for subscribing and for watching the video. I haven't posted a video lately due to various reasons but I will get back to posting more content soon. If you are into ships, I will be building the USS Texas in 1/350 scale. That video will cover the construction from the start and follow the entire process in several videos. Thank you for your comment and best wishes!

    Very good Job!👍😍
This video gave me Inspiration to build exactly the same kit. I have some upgrade parts for this like CMK resin cockpit, after market decals and lots of Eduard photo-etches.

You will have fun building this kit, especially with all the aftermarket "goodies" to install. If you haven't tried the Archer rivet decals you should give them a go. I no longer fear removing raised rivets when sanding. Just reapply the rivets after sanding and your good to go! Best of luck to you on your Hellcat build! Thank you for leaving a comment and for watching the video. Best wishes!

Sorry for the delay in this response. Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it! This was a fun model to work on. The kit does need some modification in several areas depending on what the modeler is willing to do. All in all, the kit is not too bad. Thanks again for the comment and for watching the video. Best wishes!

Much better than the identical model I did. I messed up the exhaust pipes. I finally built it after having it in my stash for over thirty years.

The exhaust on this aircraft is interesting to say the least, The good thing is, you did get it completed. Thank you for watching the video and for your comment! Best wishes!

Great job. Back in the days I used to built Hasegawa as well. I can recall them being high quality kits. These days I am more into Eduard and Tamiya. You did a great job building this one and modding it to the proper detail level. Masked off the shortcomings of Hasegawa properly (not even navigation lights included in a 1/32 kit???), well done sir!

Thank you for your comment, it is highly appreciated. I was surprised that some basic details were overlooked in such a large scale model, such as navigation lights etc. I also learned that you get what you pay for when it comes to model price and the amount of detail in a kit. Eduard and Tamiya seem to be the top end kits from my experience. But, this was a fun build and the model did not turn out too bad. Thank you again for your comments and for watching the video. Best wishes!

Thank you, I appreciate the comment! The last part of the video was done manly for fun and as a trial. I recorded an real F6F Hellcat at start up. I tried to sync the sound to the prop using a fan. It actually turned out fairly well to my surprise so I added it to the end of this video. I wish I used a better back drop for the effect. Thanks again for your comment and for watching the video. Best wishes!

That is a very good question. I am assuming you are looking for the mouth and eyes paint scheme? There aren't too many available that I have seen. Cyber Modeler is one site I have seen them and also on Ali Express. Just search for 1/32 scale Hellcat decals, the site should come up. I have never used either sites so I can't comment on their reputation or quality. Thank you for your comment and for watching the video. Best of luck on your build!

When you start the model’s engine, how do you keep the plastic from melting? 😉
Really liked the operational display. Thanks for the vid!

That is a very good question and I'm glad you asked! I found a fuel to run the engine that is very cool. It is composed of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 1% various other gases. The only heat generated is by the friction of the prop which is very limited. The engine will run limitlessly on this combination of gases as long as there is a breeze. Unfortunately, the thrust output can never overcome the amount of input required to run the engine, thus, it will only set there and look good!🤣Thanks for watching!

C'est un bon kit si vous pouvez l'obtenir. Basé sur ce que vous avez déjà, ce serait un bel ajout à votre collection. Merci pour vos commentaires et pour regarder mon videoro. Meilleurs vœux!
