One thing I did do which helped was I had an old stack pipe (since these are stainless steel) which I took a cut off wheel to and made me a metal shield to sit on the bottom inside of the tee, under the stack, to help cause any moisture (it's the South and stuff stays wet no matter what you do) to drain off and not pool in the tee. Should have started doing that before the metal rotted away around the bottom there.
Thank you! After 25 years, mine was needing replacement in the worst way. I ordered the parts last summer but due to "supply chain issues" they arrived in November after I had my stove fired up with cobbled up parts from other manufacturers which made it through the winter. I plan on taking mine apart tomorrow and getting the new chimney back up which would be great to get the full 10' of stack back up as 5' put the smoke really low. I'd love to go higher and have it vent clearer of the house but I'd need a crane to do it by myself. There HAS to be a better way to do that. 🙂
FYI,,,, you can shut your stove down and plug those pumps into an extension cord to keep them running. I do so whenever I shut my stove down so it doesn't overheat and boil my water off .
Wahhah...yeah....there's not much for "instructions". My dealer here gave me the run down of how it should come out and go in and it went as he said. Sorry about the audio, I don't have fancy rigging for a microphone on me.
Did you realize that the chimneys do not have to come off to change the chimney tee? Also the inner layer of the chimney was not gone because of the heat it gets eaten away by wet ash that gets left in there for too long usually

A great help as the directions from Central Boiler are diagrams, only. Needs more volume in the recording at times but I get the idea. Thanks!

Can't see the chimney flanges or anything else in regards to hooking up the chimney to the T
The chimney pipe just sets down on to the Tee

No I've not changed a tee before but after seeing how it's all assembled that makes sense.

And please don’t forget the wet Ash will eat them up as you know they are not cheap
@@luvdogsandhorses I just got a new cap that I'm going to put on. Better make sure I sweep out the tee every spring.
@@northwoodsyankee3528 that’s a good idea but dry ashes is not a problem
If your cap has a “screen” in it just know that it will clog up
@@luvdogsandhorses This cap is 'supposed' to be one that doesn't clog. Time will tell.
