To be honest me too, seeing that devotion to learn our language, and putting it together in funny way, that for Polish people is really enjoyable to watch
This editing is so simple yet so entertaining! I don't think anyone expects you to learn polish so I hope after the success of the last video you don't feel too much pressure to do so. For me, it's just interesting to hear honest thoughts of a foreigner about life in poland - it gives a perspective. Waiting for more!
We came for a foreign girl speaking Polish, because it's always nice to hear people from other countries try to learn your own language. But we stayed for you and your quirkiness! Don't feel pressured to make only Poland-related videos from this point on, I personally would love to see vlogs from different countries and cities as well! You go girl, nice to see you not trying to please the audience, it's the worse thing that can happen for someone who just posts random stuff on youtube for fun and suddenly one of their videos takes off. True, we Polish folk can never get tired of seeing foreigners learning to speak Polish, this kind of content is always going to catch our attention. But your personality is what counts, as it is with every youtuber. You are adorable and if people like you they are going to watch you not matter what is the topic of your video :) Keep it up :)
Hey Emma :) I found one of your videos in my recommendations and I need to admit that this is one of the best vlog channel which I’ve ever seen. I’ve already watched all vids and I’m looking forward to see new ones :)) I’m really glad that people like you are coming to Poland and enjoy with their stay. Your positive energy is making my day better (and for sure everyone’s who watches your content :) ). You are making amazing progress with your polish too, great that you are trying to use our language. I really appreciate that. I know that you can feel overwhelmed by how fast your channel is booming but your content is amazing so keep going. Remember, never feel pressure about what people can expect from you on that channel and just do what you truly enjoy with, because your enthusiasm makes it so unique ;)) Greetings from Warsaw :)

That's our national trait - we want to feel important. So when you say "Poland" outloud, you can expect the arrival of the winged hussars. Well, you'll know next time.
I love that every time I watch your vids I feel like just casually chatting with a friend, so I don't care if it's a language learning update or a messy vlog, I enjoy all of them 👌🏼
honestly, dont try to force out these videos if you feel obligated to us viewers to provide content, do them if you just want to do them. You'll get burned out quickly if you get into "catering the crowd" mindset. Although it'd be nice if you threw us a bone once in a while lol
We want more Emma! ❤️ Lots of positive vibes, just listening on the commute makes me smile and if you live here you know that smile is not that common for us so nurture it. 🤣 Do your thing, forget about polish themed channel- I think it wouldn’t work as good in the long run. 😁
Hey, a little funny story: some time ago I was talking to a newly met girl on Tinder and she asked me if there was something really hilarious that happened to me recently. I mentioned watching your Polish learning video as that was immensely entertaining. It turned out she watched it and found it funny too ^^ To be clear, we weren't at all laughing at you, mostly laughing with you at the peculiarities of Polish and enjoying your lighthearted presentation (: Overall I think you're doing really great with your vlogs, they feel similar in quality to people I watch who have vlogged for a lot longer. Never forget your post-it notes, keep doing vlogs about whatever you feel like, and good luck! ^^
It's so nice to end watching all four vlogs and recognize there's a new one :D You're doing great there in Poland - big respect for your courage in doing things you really want :) And it doesn't matter if you are making videos about Poland, learning Polish and so on, or not. You're a very positive person and have some kind of gift in presenting reality in your way. Don't stop doing this, no matter what content will you present. PS. What is your favorite Polish regional dish till now? Have you tried bigos already?

Hi, I found you actually by your video about moving to Poland, not that with polish language. I just want to say you seem like a really wholesome person. Your videos are pretty simple when it comes to editing but it's truly not a problem with your general likability. Also, it's really cool seeing someone enjoying living in Poland and especially in Warsaw. To conclude, I came just for Warsaw, but I'll definitely stay here for a while
You're really good at editing these videos! Really like the casual style, the music, nicely done! I've been living in Warsaw for 4 years, trying to learn Polish along the way also. I feel your pain. It's a slow process!
It's nice to watch your kinda freestyle video editing. Tbh your story encouraged me to leave this comment, cause I wouldn't do that before. Sad to hear that you have so little free time, Warsaw is a nice place to get to know, but it needs some time and patience. Keep on going, u rock. Hope to get to know such an inspiring person like you are some day :)
Hi emma Your videos are something I've never seen before on youtube. Perfect editing, your sense of humor and the fact that you moved from the United States to Poland is something crazy. Keep shooting movies and keep going. I don't like Warsaw, every time I come to Warsaw I feel bad, and thanks to you I saw Warsaw in a different light. I started watching you and I want more. I hope you will become popular on TH-cam and that you will start making your dreams come true.
I really enjoyed this "messy" vlog. I am planning to study in Poland ( HOPEFULLY ) and your vlogs are so helpful in some way. So don't worry about anything just post what you like and we sure like it as well, cz I know I love it. I already love Poland tbh
simple editing? try to do it, and you will see how much time and effort it will takes. When something looks simple on the video, it doesn't mean, that it was simple to achieve it.
Honestly, first time I watched you, because you were speaking in my language, but I stayed for you. I like the vibe of your videos and naturality of it, so don't worry: we like you for you. And I highly recommend for you to visit Poznań, because it's my favorite city
Those kids are super lucky to have a teacher like that :D PS: If you are interested in visiting smaller towns in Poland I recommend Kazimierz Dolny. It's super cute and has an artsy vibe to it, there are a lot of small art galleries with beautiful paintings. It's located on the Vistula river and surounded by the hills covered in forest. There is a beautiful view from a mountain of three croses. I instantly fell in love with that town when I went there. There's not a whole lot of tourist attractions apart from the castle, but just walking around those small, cosy streets is such a great experience. It's around 2 hours from Warsaw so if you'll ever have a free weekend, a car and there will be good weather you have to go there! One afternoon is enough to see everything because it's really tiny, but definitely worth the travel
If I may be so bold - not like I have much choice on that front - You're doing great, no need to stress! The learn polish video is how I found this channel (me and 99% of other people:], duh). The only regret about that one I didn't get to see the complaining about numbers part. Complaining is kind of an unofficial sport for a lot of folks. I know it sounds bad but... the struggle was entertaining and the will to persevere adorable in a way. Let us not forget the snarky comments in-between. 10/10. Keep the tape rolling. I don't think I've seen anyone pickup my language so quickly, who was not Slavic to begin with. I am impressed. Can't wait for more content! Have fun and stay sane! I can only imagine what teaching a foreign language to 6 year olds must be like. Talk about bringing order to chaos. Cheers :)
I remember when I was a kid and I started making videos. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I had fun with whatever I made, I was watching my videos over and over again and I didn't really care if they were good, I was just accepting the way they came out. But after many years I lost that feeling. I made tons of videos, even for money, I'm pretty good at it, but always with that pressure to make them as good as possible... and I lost my love for video making. Your videos reminds me that feeling when I was a kid and I enjoyed making them. When I was recording anything I want and focusing on having fun. This is so great to get that feeling again! I'm happy to watch anything you make out of love so no pressure! No pressure to make them regularly, no pressure to make them exciting, no pressure to waving the polish flag :D PS: Sorry for my English, I have to practice my language too ;P
Great video. As someone who moved to Poland (from the UK) at exactly the same time as you, it's great to see someone else going through all the same trials I am. Love Poland though.
Honestly, I really enjoy the vlog form of these videos and how they change direction getting into other places than you'd want them to go. And that's fine, 'cos that is how life works as well. It's mostly chaotic! :)
At last, new video of new TH-cam star, yuppie . But seriously I had covid 3 weeks ago , so I spend 2 weeks at home in bed mostly watching telly , I watched your previous upload like 10 times, waiting for a new one. I really like your sence of humor. Good luck in Poland Emma.
The music in the background, your facial expressions... it's just fun to watch. Don't feel any pressure :) Sure, it would be great to hear you struggling with przejażdżka. Polish ego is oh! so big, but we also love good content and yours is. P.S. Wait to see jarmark świąteczny in Poland ;) You should try to visit Kraków or Wrocław during christmas time. It's beautiful out there.
If your gonna stay in Poland during summer i can recommend visiting Olsztyn for example. Small city, lakes all around. If you take a bicycle with you, you can benefit the most.
Love the vibe. 24th november is actually one of the days in a year that you can celebrate Emma's names day, so happy names day and happy thanksgiving! :)
Have in mind that a lot of people watched your last video just because of the content, not because of the quality, professionalism or whatever. You have a really good start of your channel just because of the content that is really interesting for us, folks from Poland. But no worries, do what you love to do, just don't take too much burden on you. Wish you all the best!
Green Caffe Nero is definitely my favourite coffe shop, It just has an amazing atmosphere. It's nice to see you also going there. I really reccomend the seasonal menu :)
Really glad you've started this whole channel just upon pretty much arriving here (like really 2 months!?), I'll gladly follow with your journey across Warsaw, maybe even some smaller cities around Poland? There is really so much to see here! Trzymam kciuki, powodzonka!
Can we just talk about how the dude on the piano was playing Chopin WITH GLOVES ON in the cold, outside, so even though he didn’t go crazy on the interpretation, that is still very impressive. Playing piano with cold hands is like doing calligraphy left-handed with a blindfold on, and the gloves don’t help either. Respect the brother
Oh, c'mon... It doesn't have to be a perfect video, or perfect polish speaking. I think we just want to see you happy, and feeling good living here for a while. Take it easy. :)
You're so right about how difficult it is to learn Polish. I have been here for almost two months and am struggling. But over time it can be done. Don't let it get you down. Spanish and other romance languages are so much easier. Have fun with the many languages in Europe.
Emma! Your videos and editing style is so simple, laid back and chill. It’s really calming and interesting to see your journey. Best wishes from your neighbor Lithuania!

Just enjoy your stay. Personally I am interested to know how a foreigner experiences Poland. It's good that you don't do your blog for money, like some travel bloggers do, a so you can be honest and speak openly about your feelings, what you liked and what not, what felt strange etc. Good luck! Nice editing BTW!
From what you chose to share with your audience, you seem to be such a genuinely funny and likeable person! Love your vlogs, especially the music! Greetings from Germany
I don't know why your videos got so popular, but they are indeed nice to watch and listen to. I like your creative ideas and shots, it really shows you are an immensely creative person. Looking forward to see more of your thoughts about my home city of Warsaw. ^^
What a cool channel, definitely subscribing! Now, I can see that you are quite an adventurer which admittedly isn't something that interests me, however as a Pole that really loves English language and communicating/writing in it, this is really fun to watch. Looking forward as to what kind of content you'll be uploading here. Hilarious and awkward moments when speaking Polish are definitely appreciated lmao
we adore you, + there's nothing polish audience loves more than people acknowledging we exist AND IF THEY'RE AMERICAN? AND TRY TO SPEAK POLISH????? yeah that happens every single time +you seem so friendly and your videos are so nice to watch :)
Hello Emma! I stumbled upon your channel accidentally and it's been such a joy! I'm polish and live in Warsaw, but my boyfriend is American and he's going to come visit soon, so I've been sending him your videos to get him even more excited to come and visit my homeland haha. Hope you are enjoying it, too!
Well, I'll copy my tongue twister comment from your previous video ;) Edit: I have to say that your vlogs are really high quality, really pleasing to watch. Well done! Tongue twisters: Stół z powyłamywanymi nogami A table with legs broken out (see that there's not an article, we dont use them, actually we don't even have them in our language) stół - a table z - with powylamywanymi - broken out (there's also an info that it is about some plural thing, if we would speak about singular thing it would by powyłamywanym (without "i" at the end)) nogami - legs (this word is also conjugated because why not? Normal plural word for legs is "nogi") ----------‐------------------ król karol kupił królowej karolinie korale koloru koralowego King Charles has bought queen Caroline coral-colourer neckle. król Karol - king Charles kupił - has bought królowej Karolinie - queen Caroline (which is conjugate to tell receiver that the queen is given the neckle, regular form of queen Caroline would be "królowa Karolina) korale - neckles koloru - colour (also conjugated because why not) koralowego - coral [colour] (adj.) ---------------------------------------- Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz It is just a name of a fictional character in an old polish comedy serial - "Jak rozpętałem drugą wojnę światową?" - How did I spark off World War 2? Greetings from Warsaw :)
Warsaw in expensive and there are a lot of other cities more beautiful. I guess it is a good start. Big cities are good though for your age for social life. I just moved back to Poland after 16 years in Ireland so I feel you. I feel foreign in here in a way. Had to learn literally everything from the start as so much have changed. Good luck!
Hey, just wanted to mention that Poland has plenty to see in a relatively small area, so it's definitely worth to stick your nose outside of Warsaw at one point ;)
It's always nice seeing a fellow American make the plunge into the Polish culture. Your 1st Polish lesson brought flashbacks to when I first got here.... thinking to myself that it should be illegal to have a string of 6 consonants in a row - like, can I just buy a vowel?!? Anyway, somehow your videos came up and I really like the vibe. Good luck with Polish progress. It will never be easy (sorry not sorry for the truth bomb :D)
Your videos are funny and interesting as hell, we all can see you going bigger with this youtube thing. You deserve all the subscribers, nice to see a classic youtuber in the making; not some tik tok or streamer importing their fans to youtube.
soon enough you'll be able to experience the christmas markets in poland!!! I definitely recommend the one in Krakow (I'm biased though, since thats where my family is from!).

Welcome to everyday polish teacher's life Emma! :D Please say something about living in Warsaw. How are you finding here so far? Obviously, if you want to. It would be great hearing from you again!
heeyyy! I'm totally cool with your messy schedule and not waving a polish flag 😂 i love your energy, you seem to be a very self aware person and it's soooo great to watch! looking forward to another videos whenever you'll upload them. byeee!
I don't know what I have just witnessed, but this video is in some way so "warm and fuzzy" - you seem like a very cool and nice person, honestly whatever you do is good to watch :) I really like to hear/witness your view opinion of Poland, since it is hard to judge it yourself. Keep up the good work. P.S. I tried multiple times to understand what the kids are saying, but still got no clue :D
Your mistake is assuming we are here for your quality content or editing (although some shots are awesome. The fact you see them and film them is a proof that you are cholernie dobra in what you do ;) ). We are here for the personality you show. You feel natural and most of you would like to meet you one day to chat a bit as you are brave as fuck leaving your country and going to Poland. Our country is beautiful but people sometimes.. ehh :) Watch yourself and good luck! :) Btw. Warsaw definitely is not the most astonishing city in our country :) We simply want to watch a nice person face our part of the world and we all are curious what will you think. There is a lot to love and hate here. So please.. Stay what you are and stop thinking about the number. We are here for you :) btw. I have no idea what the kid said :D
9:33 - kid's language :P for sure hi is saying "najpierw" which is firstly in english as the second word of the sentence. I actually listened to this phrase about 20 times and I would say it is "ale, najpierw to pijemy" which means "but, firstly we drink it/this". It is funny 'cause it is more likely to hear from the guys sitting next to żabka store ;)
Girl, don't apologize for not learning polish fast enough or whatever. I enjoy your vlogs because of your sense of humour, nice editing and music in the background, not because you've spoken few polish words ;). Just chill and do what you usually do. Show us your point of view and that's it.
Funny thing i discovered while watching foreign people trying to speak Polish language, is that sometimes they manage to tell something with perfect polish akcent. Allsow, if you want to learn Polish, you need to remember that dż, dź, dz, dzi and sz, rz have a different meaning, but u, ó and rz, ż and ch, h have the same.
Omg just a few hours ago I was looking at your channel to see if there was anything new and it just turned out that today you posted :D I'm going to watch, greetings from Poland! PS: You are beautiful, I love you

No pressure to make them regularly, no pressure to make them exciting, no pressure to waving the polish flag :D
PS: Sorry for my English, I have to practice my language too ;P
Your English rocks, and I appreciate it :,)
@@emmawitter8148 Thank you! That's really nice to hear, I mean really!
Great video. As someone who moved to Poland (from the UK) at exactly the same time as you, it's great to see someone else going through all the same trials I am. Love Poland though.
I only started watching you today but the way you film your videos makes me feel like your friend and i am not complaining
"Jahrmarkt" to jak sama nazwa wskazuje nie jest polska rzecz.
You must go to Łazienki Park before all the leafs drop.
Green Caffe Nero is definitely my favourite coffe shop, It just has an amazing atmosphere. It's nice to see you also going there. I really reccomend the seasonal menu :)
Your videos are so chilling, I love watching it before school
Really glad you've started this whole channel just upon pretty much arriving here (like really 2 months!?), I'll gladly follow with your journey across Warsaw, maybe even some smaller cities around Poland? There is really so much to see here! Trzymam kciuki, powodzonka!
Początek najlepszy 😆
Can we just talk about how the dude on the piano was playing Chopin WITH GLOVES ON in the cold, outside, so even though he didn’t go crazy on the interpretation, that is still very impressive. Playing piano with cold hands is like doing calligraphy left-handed with a blindfold on, and the gloves don’t help either. Respect the brother
Your videos are kinda calming :)) music/editing/vibe and spontaneousness :)
The background music in your vlogs is just perfect, don't change it please
Beatufiul pictures and it's edited great.
I concur bro :)
Your vlog is so personal and authentic, and I love it.
Oh, c'mon... It doesn't have to be a perfect video, or perfect polish speaking. I think we just want to see you happy, and feeling good living here for a while. Take it easy. :)
I recommend some day visit Lodz...not long journey but still you can get there by train fast :)
You're so right about how difficult it is to learn Polish. I have been here for almost two months and am struggling. But over time it can be done. Don't let it get you down. Spanish and other romance languages are so much easier. Have fun with the many languages in Europe.
If you are going to visit different cities in Poland I recomend Kraków/Cracow because it has got a huge "old town"
Emma! Your videos and editing style is so simple, laid back and chill. It’s really calming and interesting to see your journey. Best wishes from your neighbor Lithuania!
im not into vlogs but this hits different, u are very entertaining, honestly this channel is a vibe
Cool vlogs Emma! keep going😊
Piekna dziewczyna o wspanialym usmiechu, powinnas czesciej robic materialy, uwielbiam takich pozytywnych ludzi ,zycze Ci wszystkiego Najlepszego w zyciu !:)
You cannot use phone or other electronic device on a pedestrian crossing in a way that reduces visibility (you can just lift it little down)
I don't know why your videos got so popular, but they are indeed nice to watch and listen to.
As person who would also love to move to Poland in the future, your vlogs are a huge motivator for me!
Come to Silesian district, we have a bunch of foreign friends that came here - you'll not feel lonely :)
ah that's so cool! why Poland?? and what city??
@@emmawitter8148 I have a lot of Polish friends and I just think Poland is a nice country to be in ( 030)
There is a lot of vlogs foreigners living here in Poland, Plexi Glass for example! :)) Emma do you know her? :))
It was definitely worth waiting for. Keep on doing these videos, they are so fun to watch!
The end was absolutely amazing 😍😂 you got this , just have to constantly keep trying and speaking the language you’ll get it in no time
Snake from IKEA hahaha you are super! I'm glad you like Warsaw. Wait for winter, in December the streets are beautiful, especially Nowy Świat!
we adore you, + there's nothing polish audience loves more than people acknowledging we exist AND IF THEY'RE AMERICAN? AND TRY TO SPEAK POLISH????? yeah that happens every single time +you seem so friendly and your videos are so nice to watch :)
It's a pleasure to watch your videos. I just want to follow you on your journey to learn Polish. Powodzenia, trzymam kciuki!
Upload your vids whenever you want - after all it's all for you, we are just (not so) silent spectators ^^ It's your journey, take it slowly gal
It's nice Emma, Polish is so hard. You have nice vibe.
Full of respect for You.
Well, I'll copy my tongue twister comment from your previous video ;)
Edit: I have to say that your vlogs are really high quality, really pleasing to watch. Well done!
Tongue twisters:
Stół z powyłamywanymi nogami
A table with legs broken out (see that there's not an article, we dont use them, actually we don't even have them in our language)
stół - a table
z - with
powylamywanymi - broken out (there's also an info that it is about some plural thing, if we would speak about singular thing it would by powyłamywanym (without "i" at the end))
nogami - legs (this word is also conjugated because why not? Normal plural word for legs is "nogi")
----------‐------------------
król karol kupił królowej karolinie korale koloru koralowego
King Charles has bought queen Caroline coral-colourer neckle.
król Karol - king Charles
kupił - has bought
królowej Karolinie - queen Caroline (which is conjugate to tell receiver that the queen is given the neckle, regular form of queen Caroline would be "królowa Karolina)
korale - neckles
koloru - colour (also conjugated because why not)
koralowego - coral [colour] (adj.)
----------------------------------------
Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz
It is just a name of a fictional character in an old polish comedy serial - "Jak rozpętałem drugą wojnę światową?" - How did I spark off World War 2?
Greetings from Warsaw :)
Yes, we came for the Polish but we stayed for your personality and the fact you make entertaining videos.
I can't wait to see more of your videos. Such a cool vibe you have
I’ve only seen this one video so far, but I really liked it. You should do more about another cities in Poland, they have their unique vibe. :)
Not sure if youre vegetarian, but the markets have amazing food, and they always have mulled spiced wine! (grzaniec)
i'm planning to see the markets in Krakow in december!! so excited
i lived here in warsaw for 7 years and im still finding new things
You can see also Kraków - beautiful, historic city and i recommend Zakopane - in the heart od Tatra Mountains. :)
Relax. I am also an English speaker in Poland. You are wonderful…for all of us, Polish speakers etc! No boredom. We are happy just to watch listen and be a part!. KNOW that we are good for us! 👍🏼🎯❤️
I suggest you record a video where you try Polish food
Hey. I love when peoples have a lot problems when they learn Polish, I living in Poland since birthday so it s for me rly funny when you want say niedźwiedź but resultates is nieźwieć.
Welcome to everyday polish teacher's life Emma! :D
Please say something about living in Warsaw.
2k views in 40 minutes, over 600k on previous one in a month. You're killing it
I checked if you added a video every few days and here we go ! finally ☺️
We are here for you :)
btw. I have no idea what the kid said :D
9:33 - kid's language :P
for sure hi is saying "najpierw" which is firstly in english as the second word of the sentence.
I actually listened to this phrase about 20 times and I would say it is "ale, najpierw to pijemy" which means "but, firstly we drink it/this".
It is funny 'cause it is more likely to hear from the guys sitting next to żabka store ;)
We Love you because You do something what you like You don’t need speak Polish in every film For me it is simple I am happy because you exist
Girl, don't apologize for not learning polish fast enough or whatever. I enjoy your vlogs because of your sense of humour, nice editing and music in the background, not because you've spoken few polish words ;). Just chill and do what you usually do. Show us your point of view and that's it.
Hi Emma, feel free to do what you want. You are true to yourself and viewers like it. Have fun and take care.
you're getting better and better in Polish, I live in Poland 💗
Funny thing i discovered while watching foreign people trying to speak Polish language, is that sometimes they manage to tell something with perfect polish akcent. Allsow, if you want to learn Polish, you need to remember that dż, dź, dz, dzi and sz, rz have a different meaning, but u, ó and rz, ż and ch, h have the same.
Nobody is excited about being in Poland, you are one of us now!
Omg just a few hours ago I was looking at your channel to see if there was anything new and it just turned out that today you posted :D
I'm going to watch, greetings from Poland!
PS: You are beautiful, I love you
