I love this video! I believe in it the same way, Mas. Right now, I’m studying as a neurology resident, and I don’t care whether I’m a genius, smart, or whatever. What I really care about to maintain my energy during this journey is finding something interesting and worth obsessing over. Your video made me believe it even more. Thank you for making this video! 🎉
i think i can relate to you that I often have different hobbies and passion. I cant seem to make it consistent in the long run and its challenging to see myself ‘success’ in a specific area. i guess i have too many obsessions and sometime loose interest easily.
(note to self) the good news is (hey you, half soul) that you can grow a new obsession. and if the thing you need to be obsessed about doesn't spark a joy/isn't enough; try obsessing over the concept of obsession itself. you have an abundance of unimportant obsessions anyway. you are capable of that.
I just realized how important it is to be obsessed with something. In the past, I played the guitar diligently because I was obsessed with a woman and wanted to attract her attention through music. However, after the woman rejected me, I immediately stopped playing the guitar.
I found this video from Twitter (I still don't want to mention it as X). It's a wonderful insight! Whoever we know as talented people, they just obsessed with something. Thank you very much for existing, and thank you very much for this video.
This 5 minute video summarizes things of what I understand as 'talented' or 'genius' person. It's also perfectly spoken so it's easier for us to grasp. Thanks for making this!
Suddenly i just wonder 'the lines' between obssesed and desperate. For example: 1. Obssesed become big youtuber > create, research content, learn step by step, everyday Or 2. Desperate need money > Self taught editing software, skilled (how to produce a good content), once in awhile, tend to be perfectionist.
@@thetinywisdom wohooo thx for the reply! I think i need those two too😂. Keep it up bang, remember, you're content are great and inspired so many people!
i randomly got this in my recommendation. and it was worth clicking. thankyou for sharing your wisdom and your life experience with us. i'm sure someone will inspire from this. it induced new way of looking at someone 'talented' for me. maybe, i just need some obsession. can it be developed ? or is it just natural ? what are your thoughts on that. i personally think i can endulge myself more in studies if i think that it can be developed over time as i spend more time on it. anyway, thanks for sharing the video with us.
