Hi Mandy I am really enjoying your channel and your videos are fantastic and so different to the other videos on you tube. I just wanted to ask if you would consider doing some videos creating tote bags or ceramic ornaments rather than sweatshirts etc Just thought I would ask. Thanks
Thank you so much for all of your content! I have been binging your videos over the past month as I start my first Etsy shop and your knowledge and attention to detail has been invaluable! I love the logical and detailed way you lay everything out. One question that I have for you is on personalized, multi product orders. I've watched your videos on personalized order and group orders. However, I'm interested in selling a custom shirt that contains multiple products (adult tshirts, baby, toddler, etc). How would you set this up in Printify? Thank you again!!
I'd that cut-out dates are very important for Q4. I tried to inform my customers about delays if the order was out on those dates. Fortunately, awkward Styles managed really well last season, hope they'll do it too
Hi just getting started with POD! Love your videos! Thank you for all the knowledge and insight!! *One question if I may? … I noticed my shipping times are much longer than other shops in Etsy. For example another shop shipping is within 5days yet my listing is showing shipping as soon as 17days!!! Please help!!!😅 thank you so much in advance ❣️
Love this! I went through your free course and set up my shop in a “pocket” of time last night, so excited for Q4. Do you have a list of favorite products, such as the ones you mentioned in this video?
Yay!! That’s so exciting!!! 🎉🎉 The products are linked in the video description. If you go back a couple videos I also have a video that goes into more of my top sellers for Q4: th-cam.com/video/SgOqPDlwb4c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dZJ8dhsiJYWbpNif
Why though? This isn't good advice I don't know why youtubers suggest this. As a customer, if I go to your shop and I'm interested in your design and you have 1000 designs, I'm leaving. I'm not going to even look through them it's over whelming. It drowns out any good designs you have and makes them unfindable. It also just floods the marketplace with junk...cause the truth is only about 5-10% are going to be good designs. Instead get 100-200 really good ones and do that and run ads on those that sell the best.
The majority of top shops on Etsy have 1000+ listings - in many cases, multiple 1000s. Shops with very few listings can certainly do well, but I use volume of listings intentionally for data, to infiltrate niches with my listings and create more opportunities to be found in searches, and to continuously make improvements for future listings (based on past listings that are working or not working). If you are researching and properly designing/optimizing along the way, a higher volume of listings allows you to serve more customers in more ways. It’s not about random generic designs - there’s a method for doing it. I can’t speak for other creators, but I share it as the method I prefer because it’s exactly the method I used to get to $100k revenue in less than 10 months - and it works when done correctly. There’s pros and cons to each method with a variety of variables, and it’s entirely a choice 🤓
Love your content, very helpful. I have a question about out of stock items. Do you let the customer know that you switched products to fulfill their order? Or do you just subsitute your back up product? I really only see an issue with comfort color shirts where thats what they wanted. Just wondering.
Nevermind. You answered it on video. I posted this in the middle of your video. Lol. Thank you Mandy for sharing your knowledge. You are my favorite POD lady! 😊
Question with song lyrics. Even though actual phrases from songs may not be copyrighted, is there still a risk there? I’m designing some faith-based t-shirts at the moment, and noticed a best seller with “If the stars were made to worship so will I” from Hillsong. That technically is their intellectual property right? Even though it doesn’t show up in trademark search
That's my favorite line in the song. I think it's too risky to use though, from what I've gathered it sounds like song lyrics are considered intellectual property.
Loving the Q4 content. The only thing I don’t understand is how you pay for production if your sales go nuts. For example, you sold 70K in sales that first year during Q4, but I assume you didn’t have that kind of cash on hand or on a credit card to be able to put the prints into production. Is there a piece I am missing?
Definitely get a business credit card with a good rewards program (either cash back or travel points, whichever you like better)! I set up daily payments from Etsy (so I get paid every weekday from Etsy), and then I use that to continuously pay off my credit card. Works so much better than trying to worry about cashflow AND I’ve gotten over $2600 back in statement credits 😊
Your voice and manner are so soothing. I feel so calm (and informed thank)after watching your videos.
Seeing you is an injection of energy and positivity. I hope one day to be that instrument of information like you do! thank you so much❤
Such great advice Mandy!!! Thank you Mandy!

have you used custom cat? They seem like a small company I'm nervous about having them even as a backup.

This will be my first Q4 on Etsy. I have not found a platform where I can get one single customer so hopefully this will work.
Always coming and very informative Cannot thank you enough period it seems as if printified only has one provider for mugs. Is that correct

I'm shooting for adding 600 more Listings before October 20th. It might be a crazy goal, but I want to do everything I can to make the most of Q4.

I wish I found you sooner! I’m still going through your free training course. I’m close to posting my designs, am I too late for Q4?

It's a risk because lyrics are copyright.
