It's also important to mention that before people start investing in ads, they need to make sure their listing is fully optimized; photos need to be amazing, SEO (particularly keyword matching) needs to be on point, all applicable attributes are filled, etc.
Really a master piece of content.. i love the way you detailed everything and your critical thinking about how to run a successful ad .. I creat a new shop and I create my own products but I found a real problem about creating a catchy thumbnails that’s why I’m afraid to run etsy ads because I could face the problem of the low CTR .. any advice I’ll be appreciated ❤
I don't usually write comments, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you Hannah! 🙏 Just ordered one of your products these days! I've learned so much from you, and it's been a game-changer for my Etsy shop. Thanks to you, I've been able to really grow my digital prints on Etsy. Now, because I'm so inspired by your POD journey, I'm thinking about starting print on demand and offering my artwork as framed canvas art prints. Do you think I should add these to my current shop, or would you recommend creating a separate shop just for the framed canvas art? 🤔 I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this! 😊 Big hug from Germany!!
This is completely normal-algorithms naturally favor certain listings over others. The key is to keep launching new products to expand your pool of winners. While you can't control which listings the algorithm favors, think of it this way: out of 100 listings, perhaps 10 perform well with ads and generate significant spend. By consistently testing and launching more products, you increase the chances of turning those 10 winners into 15, then 20, and so on. It's all about scaling through consistent experimentation and growth.
Hannah, thank you for another fantastic video! I previously asked about this, but I was wondering if you have plans to integrate Profit Tree with third-party shipping companies? I’m very interested in using Profit Tree, but I rely on a third-party shipping service.
I am running Etsy ads on 6 listings. Four of them are getting high views and sales, but two are not receiving any views. For the same type of listing, my competitors are getting multiple orders. I have tried to identify the issue but haven’t been able to solve it yet. If you understand my problem and have a solution, please share it with me.
Yes this is discusssed in the course the algorithm is going to favor some listings over others and it’s very hard to tell why all you can do is continue to launch listings and feed it to the algorithm and pull out the ones that makes sense financially with ads on
Frequently turning ads on and off can disrupt the algorithm, making it harder to optimize effectively. It's best to let ads run their course and only turn them off if they consistently underperform. Once an ad is turned off-unless it's for a seasonal or holiday-specific purpose-there's usually no need to reactivate it, as it has already been tested and proven not profitable.
If I understand all this correctly, ads are really only good for print on demand products. Because my items are physical and individual pieces. So I don't understand how ads would even help my shop. If I'm wrong about this, please let me know what I'm not understanding about the ad process.
@EcomHannah But my projects arr one of a kind pieces and not duplicated. After they the one item sells then a deferent one goes up. It would seem very difficult to put ads on items that are one item only.
@@EcomHannah Ads will help you drive traffic BUT you will end up on the Losing End as Etsy gets all the money YOU worked so Hard for. Etsy gives you NO Control over the Ad spend on your products - They charge whatever they want per click and YOU have NO say in the manner - they don't even tell you what each click cost you. Even Evil Google lets YOU decide how much per click you are willing to pay.
Hannah how on earth could I grow a shop to even a 30% margin, which is my goal. I've been at this awhile - but when I look at your profit tree app - it looks like I'm less than 14% and my ad budget is eating up my profits. Which I don't understand at all because once ads are clicked on, I get sales. Do you go over this in your free training? I'm really stressed that I'm spending as much as I'm making.

Doing all of the mentioned things in the right way is indeed going to be super beneficial

If my best seller is eating up 90% of the budget and not giving other listings a chance, should I turn that one off?
The same is happening to me..

Hi, I've been using Etsy ads for a week and I've put in $20 a day but it only spends a maximum of $4. What could be the reason?

Do you know if toggling your ads on and off affects it too?

Ads work great for physical goods too, especially if you want to drive traffic.
