We all have regrets Jamie. Unfortunately we can’t turn the clock back. You were brave enough to take a pen but how many players did not. Listen it’s the past Jamie. You can only do what is right a the time. Great to see you doing talk sport. Unfortunately you are heart on sleeve nothing wrong in that basically you care and show it

Seriously. It’s a ladies level nothing wrong in that. But my opinion is. The ladies game is fantastic. But you can’t compare say like boxing. We now have a lady riding in speedway against men. Seriously would be amazing if she does well. Lia Thomas ??

He went and played for Man United and was the best player there, so he moved to Man City and was the best player there - Aguero often cites him as the best he ever played with, the player KDB could have been. He moved to Real Madrid and was the best player there, won 8 of his 11 Balon d'Or awards there. He then played for England and was the best player there, keeping Gerrard out of the side. After 130 caps and 148 goals for England he defected to Brazil's national team and was the best player there.
He then changed career and won the Snooker Masters with 9 consecutive 147 breaks in the final, he was the best player there.
He then entered Mr Universe and won that, he was the best competitor there.
Then he became President of the US and was the best ever, he figured out a way to solve all the financial issues of the world and stopped all the wars as we all lived in peace and affluence.
Possibly the cherry on the cake was when O'Hara built a time machine and took Adolf Hitler under his wing, making him a messenger for peace, hence the esteem he's now held in... If he hadn't told us we wouldn't have known. Then he knocked out Tyson Fury, Usyk, AJ and a cloned, prime Mike Tyson in the same afternoon without any training.
He got paid £800bn for his appearance on Big Brother and donated it all to medical research, which allowed cures for every single disease to be discovered.
Amazing that he's so humble about all of this.

    2005-2011-Tottenham Hotspur 34 appearances
2006-2011 Loaned out to- chesterfield, millwall, Portsmouth and Wolverhampton. Making a total of 69 appearances in five years.
2011-2014 Wolverhampton making 41 appearances for the championship side.
2014-2015- Blackpool 27 appearances for the championship side.
2015-2016 Fulham with 37 appearances for the championship side.
2016-Gillingham a league one side for which he made 2 appearances.
    2017-2020 Billericay 47 appearances…
So when was it Real Madrid thought you were ever good enough to make a bid for you. What a load of BS from the man himself. Laughable.

Honestly this was one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to from an ex-pro. Tells it how it is, and brutally honest. As football fans, isn’t that exactly what we want to hear? Too much now we receive watered-down generic bullshit from players that doesn’t tell us anything. I could have happily listened to another 2 hours of this podcast.

100% agree with there is very few real leaders in the current gen of players. Before the 2010's, big, elite clubs very rarely got trashed. The last 10 years I feel so many big teams get trashed. Brazil losing 7-1 to Germany. Barcelona beating PSG 7-2. Bayern winning Barca 8-2. The countless times Arsenal have got hammered, but still finished in the top 4. PSV beating Feyenoord 10-0. It's like the players can't crisis manage when the shit hits the fan.

I think Jamie is spot on about modern footballers not having the fire in their bellies. Look at Dele Alli when he first broke into Spurs first team. He always played on the edge and many of us Spurs fans were worried about him getting sent off every game. Then look at him in the past few years. Huge difference. He lost it at the time he signed the £160 per week 5 year contract.

I’m an Arsenal fan and watch/listen to more ex player, current player and every other football related content and I can genuinely say there’s nothing fake or disingenuous that I can see in this…Jamie is pretty honest about how he fell off a cliff pretty early on and the reasons why. The comment about him being bang average as a youngster comparing him to Joe Cole is totally out of time frames so the only bullshit here is the comments. If you want to hear/see some actually questionable answers then watch Ben’s podcast with Matt le tissier…great player but not sure about his view of himself or the situations he found himself in if I’m honest…Jamie is a genuine bloke imo and being a gunner I would love to say the opposite.

Chatting truth about MUFC and young players. I feel this.. it's the england spirit and fight gone now. Alot players play for say England and basically are african. I'm black but feel it's the immigration in teams. Kids in 80s loved England and teams. Nowadays it's money and cars 😂

@dondamon4669 I laught when I see all Europe. France England even Germany now get african migrants to play for money and power. Also different now and white players have be on job. Alot muslim players don't drink and are fit as fiddle. Alot drinking culture with English lol

@@dondamon4669 I agree but in the case of Grealish and Rice, Ireland kind of nabbed them as they have one grandparent or something.

  • @matt27taylor

Respectfully Jamie, you joined Arsenal in 1998. They were nowhere near the level of Man United’s academy who had just seen Nicky Butt, Neville brothers, Giggs, Scholes & Beckham come through in 96 & go on to win the Champions League in 99. Arsenal’s academy were not even better than West Ham’s academy who went on to produce the likes of Ferdinand, Terry, Lampard, Carrick, Joe Cole, Defoe etc. Ajax’s academy too were miles ahead of Arsenal. At no point did Arsenal in fact have a top 5 academy ever. Again, respectfully, I loved you as a player growing up (genuinely signed you at every Championship Manager team I played with) but that was a straight lie unfortunately.

    • @matt27taylor
      @matt27taylor 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@TB41n0 Appreciate that mate. He really got this completely wrong unfortunately & I think he is still trying to come to terms with a “failed to live up to the hype” career by pushing the narrative too far about how good he was.
I did not even mention that Ajax won the Champions League in 95 with an entire squad of Academy Graduates under Louie Van Gaal. The team? Edwin Van Der Sar, Michael Reiziger, Danny Blind, Frank Rijkaard, Frank De Boer, Clarence Seedorf, Edgar Davids, Ronald De Boer, Marc Overmars, Winston Bogarde, Nwankwo Kanu, Patrick Kluivert to name a few.
How he says Arsenal had the best academy in 98 & he was the best player is actually insane when you read just that list from Ajax. 🥴
