Ricky Hatton is a bloody legend. He can play on my team any day of the week. World class. He may have lost a few, but he was fighting the best. The whole country loved him. Quite rightly.

Your journey is so reflective of most working class lads whether they choose the marathon of being a, professional sportsman, tradesmen, getting through university, vocational work, doing a tough or tedious job. You have to work double hard to get there, then for what you get and then spend the rest of your days worried about keeping hold of it from one day to the next. Well done!!

They are all at it at the top level, it shouldn’t happen but some things like test and hgh are natural occurring hormones. That just bump ur natural levels up, and they struggle testing for it, however somethings arnt and if u get caught ur fucked and rightly so.

Had the displeasure of meeting this guy about a decade ago at a charity event. He was off his rocker on alcohol or whatever else...and also tried to pick a fight with me numerous times across the evening and acted like a complete tool. Lost all respect for him.
Sadly he was on the packet and full of demons. Hate the sin not the sinner.
Bit tiring now constantly hearing him bang on how down to earth he was and “one of the lads” “ from a council estate” it’s like he’s always trying to convince himself he has no ego when he clearly did , if he was more down to earth he wouldn’t of fell apart after his losses , just like Naseem he was ok till he got beat then he never got over it .. also like Naseem he was good , very good but couldn’t hold his own with the very best ..
