Ricky did the ‘hard yards’ and will reap the rewards for the rest of his life. He is the most loved British boxer ‘ever’. Just top notch. Thank you for sharing your stories Ricky, you’re a real treat.
Ricky Hatton is a bloody legend. He can play on my team any day of the week. World class. He may have lost a few, but he was fighting the best. The whole country loved him. Quite rightly.

You smashed it Ricky, the whole country had your back. Your journey is so reflective of most working class lads whether they choose the marathon of being a, professional sportsman, tradesmen, getting through university, vocational work, doing a tough or tedious job. You have to work double hard to get there, then for what you get and then spend the rest of your days worried about keeping hold of it from one day to the next. Well done!!
