    Wes Brown MAN UTD LEGEND
I drove past his house in Prestbury years ago on my birthday with my gf at the time, i thought id knock on & see if he was there. He only opened up his big electric gates for me and invited me into his drive upto his front door & gave me some signed stuff. Still gives me goosebumps today. He was a fantastic right back & centre half at times. That boy could tackle. He was confident on the ball going forward & was a great defender, he played with his heart. I saw him play many times home & away with United. I’ve never met him, but he sounds like a very grounded bloke who has no ego. Wish him all the best for his future. He might have lost a few quid but he’s got his dignity & that’s worth far more….

Don't forget Rio is a year older than Brown which makes a big difference when players are breaking through at 18/19. To be fair even Wes's memory is shot too, as there was no game like he describes happen at Elland Road when he was 19 lol
